Of chickens and ducks, climbing spaces, stones, and rocks… all things bring a joyful experience to our little boys and girls!
On this beautiful educational trip to XPark Jr, our children explored the outdoors with curiosity and confidence, this time meeting the friendly ducks and chickens that call the park home. Watching them walk, waddle, flap, and interact offered endless opportunities for wonder and discovery.
These real-world learning help children:
🌱 Build social-emotional skills as they approach animals gently and respectfully
🧠 Develop observation and scientific thinking while noticing movements, sounds, and behaviors
💬 Expand language and communication through naming, describing, and asking questions
🌍 Strengthen understanding of the natural world, learning how living things move, eat, and respond
💪 Boost gross motor skills as they move, follow, and explore open spaces with freedom and excitement
By bringing the classroom outdoors, children learn that the world itself is a teacher, full of textures, sounds, creatures, and experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence.
At TDCC, we believe learning should be lived, not just taught. And adventures like these help every child grow in the most joyful and meaningful ways.
