There are many different techniques to correct a nasal hump. Contrary to what many patients believe, it cannot simply be shaved off. Beneath the hump lies a structural cavity, which means each nose requires an individualized approach to achieve the most natural and aesthetically pleasing result. In this lovely patient, a hybrid dorsal preservation technique using piezo (ultrasonic) technology was performed.

تتعدد التقنيات الجراحية المستخدمة لتصحيح حدبة الأنف، وعلى خلاف الاعتقاد الشائع لدى كثير من المرضى، لا يمكن ببساطة “بردها” أو إزالتها بشكل مباشر. إذ توجد أسفل الحدبة فجوة بنيوية ضمن هيكل الأنف، مما يجعل كل حالة فريدة وتحتاج إلى خطة جراحية مخصصة لتحقيق نتيجة طبيعية ومتناسقة من الناحية الجمالية.

في هذه الحالة المميزة، تم اعتماد تقنية هجينة للحفاظ على ظهر الأنف باستخدام تقنية البييزو (الموجات فوق الصوتية).

Still inspired after Visegrad Plastic Surgery Congress in Budapest (Danubius Hotel Helia), where I spoke on “Revision Rhinoplasty: Tips & Tricks.”
For me, revision work is like flamenco on the guitar, you respect the rhythm and guidelines, then improvise for the person in front of you, especially in a culturally diverse hub like Dubai.

Deep gratitude to the Hungarian Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and the Convention Budapest team for a superb meeting and to all the old friends and colleagues I got to reconnect with.

ما زلت أشعر بالإلهام بعد مشاركتي في مؤتمر فيشغراد لجراحة التجميل في بودابست، حيث قدّمت محاضرة بعنوان
"جراحة الأنف الترميمية: نصائح وخفايا".

بالنسبة لي، جراحة الأنف الترميمية تشبه عزف الفلامنكو على الغيتار — تبدأ بالالتزام بالإيقاع والقواعد، ثم تُبدع بما يتناسب مع الشخص الذي أمامك، خصوصًا في مدينة متعددة الثقافات مثل دبي.

By 8 weeks after a primary rhinoplasty, in patients with intermediate skin thickness, around 70% of the swelling has usually settled. From this point, the nose continues to refine gradually over the following months to a year, and the true definition begins to shine through.

This lovely patient is just 8 weeks post-op, and her beautiful smile means the world to me and my team.

بحلول 8 أسابيع بعد عملية تجميل الأنف للمرة الأولى، في المرضى الذين لديهم سماكة جلد متوسطة، يكون عادةً قد تراجع حوالي 70٪ من التورّم.
