Clinical and Surgical Training Center We are beacon of surgical and clinical training in UAE, the GCC and the MENA region.

This center of excellence aims at advancing the surgical and medical professional education. The CTC and SSI is a state of the art, surgical and educational training facility that will revolutionize Health Care Professional training and development in the Middle East. SSI is a pioneering partnership that links the UAE Ministry of Health, The University of Sharjah Medical School, Johnson and Johnson Middle East (Inc.O) and Olympus. The Intensive Abdominal Ultrasound Course will take place at CSTC – University of Sharjah on 10–11 April 2026.

This program provides healthcare professionals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform abdominal ultrasound examinations and interpret imaging findings accurately.

Participants will explore imaging of:

• Liver and biliary system
• Pancreas and spleen
• Kidneys and urinary tract
• Major abdominal vessels

If Urodynamics, EMG biofeedback, diagnostic ultrasound, and cystoscopy are reviewed separately, clinical decision-making remains incomplete.

CSTC, University of Sharjah successfully hosted the Breast Reconstruction Cadaver Lab in collaboration with BD on 8–9 February 2026.

The program integrated scientific lectures and advanced cadaver-based hands-on training, addressing scaffold techniques, P4HB innovation, and post-mastectomy reconstruction strategies.

CSTC continues to position itself as a regional hub for high-level surgical training.
