At Tirana Yoga we are a group of local and international teachers that are dedicated to sharing the practice of yoga here in Albania. Tirana Yoga is one of Tirana’s premiere yoga studios and has been active in Albania for 9 years. Started around 2008, originally as a group of people who shared a love for yoga meeting twice weekly, in September 2011 Tirana Yoga expanded and started offering daily classes in various styles of yoga. All of its current teachers are internationally certified and have completed a minimum of 200-hours of training based on international standards (Yoga Alliance US and Yoga Alliance UK) and have been teaching for a minimum of 3 years. Tirana Yoga is offering yoga classes by quality instructors for beginner and advanced students. Classes are in various styles of yoga including Power Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Primary Series, Yin Yoga, and Hatha Yoga for Beginners. What we Teach:

Power Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa-style yoga combines a series of flowing postures with rhythmic breathing for an intense body-mind workout. In Vinyasa classes postures are linked together in a continuous and challenging flow and the common thread is a rigorous workout that develops strength and flexibility while keeping students on the move. Classes focus on proper alignment, easeful posture transitions, and controlled breathing exercises (pranayama) to facilitate an exploration into the inner dimensions of yoga and self-awareness. Hatha Beginner
Hatha (sun and moon) yoga is umbrella term that includes all styles of yoga that focus on the postures (asana) as the main emphasis of the class. This includes: Iyengar, Power yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Bikram, etc. Usually, however, when a yoga class is advertised as Hatha yoga, it will be a slower style of asana class, which is good for beginning students. Postures (especially standing postures) are typically held much longer than in other schools of yoga, so that practitioners can pay close attention to the precise muscular and skeletal alignment this system demands. Ashtanga Primary Series
The practice of Asthanga Primary Series that’s getting mainstream attention today is a dynamic, fast-paced series of sequential postures practiced by yoga master K. Pattabhi Jois. Each pose is linked to the next through a series of connecting movements called vinyasa, allowing the body to create heat and leading to more flexibility. Smooth, deep breathing (ujjayi) is synchronized with the movements. This powerful and vigorous practice purifies and realigns the body, cultivating a feeling of inner peace, and leading to a natural state of meditation. Health benefits: Increases blood circulation, helps purify internal organs, removes toxins from the body through sweat glands, and strengthens the cardiovascular system.

This active 4-stage meditation gently guides you from movement into stillness:
1️⃣ Shaking/bouncing – Loosen the body and release blocked energy
2️⃣ Dancing – Let energy flow freely with joyful movement
3️⃣ Standing/sitting – Witness the rising inner silence
4️⃣ Lying Down – Rest in deep relaxation and awareness

We will finish the meditation with a short kirtan/mantra chanting and a q+a.

In this calming experience, gentle restorative poses are paired with the healing touch of Reiki to release tension, balance your energy, and invite a profound sense of peace. Whether you’re seeking emotional reset, energetic harmony, or simply a moment for yourself, this session is your invitation to slow down and recharge. 🌿💫

🌟To prepare: Please wear warm, comfortable clothes to do gentle movement. Try to refrain from eating at least 3 hours before the session.

🕉️The Class: 60 minutes Restorative Yoga with Reiki healing (5 minutes per person); 30 minutes Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) with singing bowls

Participants: Max 10 students

Restorative Yoga is a deeply healing and therapeutic practice where all poses are supported by blankets, bolsters, and other props to give the body the space to heal in a gentle held space. Each pose will be held 4-5 minutes in a passive, effortless manner. Through rest and relaxation we reset the nervous system, allowing for a decrease in stress, anxiety and fatigue.

Reiki is a powerful, hands on, energetic practice that helps to heal, restore, and reduce stress and tension in the body and mind. Throughout the practice Reiki will be offered to uplift the energetic body, as well as singing bowls to guide you into deeper relaxation. Lea will cycle through each student 1 time during the session for 4-5 minutes in a pose to apply Reiki.

About Robyn
Robyn is a soul guide, transformational travel coach, and intuitive healer devoted to awakening the sacred within. At heart, she’s a traveler, seeker, and storyteller. On paper, she is a writer, certified Travel Coach, Yoga and Barre Instructor, meditation facilitator, and Reiki Healer.
