Continuing to bring history to life! 🏛️✨

Following our workshops in other cities, – “LIVING forever the PAST through a 3Digital world” continued its journey in Lushnjë, Fier, and Vlorë, engaging VET students in creative and interactive ways to explore cultural heritage.

These ongoing sessions are strengthening students’ connection with history, encouraging them to think creatively and use digital tools to preserve and share the past with future generations.

Youth workers and representatives from People in Focus joined the SHINE ✨ International Training on Civic Engagement, taking place across Romania 🇷🇴, Germany 🇩🇪, and Bulgaria 🇧🇬.

Each country brought a different learning experience:

📍 In Timișoara, Romania, the focus was on understanding the basics, where participants explored democracy, youth participation, and civic engagement, while trying out interactive tools from the SHINE Toolkit
📍 In Frankfurt, Germany, the training became more hands-on, diving into topics like diversity, equality, and inclusion, as well as exploring podcasting 🎙️ as a creative way to educate and connect communities.
📍 In Sofia, Bulgaria, participants learned by doing ; designing awareness campaigns 🗣️, playing the “Democracy in Play” board game 🎲, and reflecting on their journey before receiving their YouthPass Certificates 🏆.
A valuable international experience empowering youth workers to create more inclusive, active, and engaged communities.

In collaboration with Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Culture and Education🇧🇬 (coordinator), KulturLife 🇩🇪, European Association for Adult Development 🇷🇴, People in Focus Albania 🇦🇱, NEŠTO VIŠE 🇧🇦, New Horizon NGO 🇲🇪.

We are proud to share highlights from the Immersive Heritage Conference hosted by the Politehnica University of Timișoara, bringing together academia, institutions, and key stakeholders in the field of digital cultural heritage.

🎓 The event was honored by the presence of the Rector of the University, local authorities, distinguished personalities, and leading experts shaping the future of immersive technologies.

🌍 The conference also brought together representatives from LIP3D partner institutions across Europe, including Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Poland, and Albania, highlighting the strong transnational collaboration behind the project.

🇪🇺 A special highlight was the participation of Mr. Diego Lopez, Project Officer from the European Union, alongside the Director of the LIP3D Project, reinforcing the strong European dimension and institutional support behind the initiative.
