🤝 On-site Training in Taipei, Taiwan

Our Clinical Application Specialist recently visited Tri-Service General Hospital in Taipei for a hands-on Diego training with VR integration, together with our local partner, Habitz Medical.

Combining Diego with a VR headset added a whole new dimension to therapy — making upper limb training more immersive, motivating, and engaging for patients. The enthusiasm from the therapists and the positive feedback from patients highlighted just how powerful these innovative approaches can be when seamlessly integrated into clinical practice.

It was a fantastic exchange full of energy, and truly inspiring to see technology-supported rehabilitation being embraced around the world 🌏

A great time at the Pancyprian Physiotherapy Conference in Larnaca, Cyprus!

Together with our new distribution partner Able Tools , our team connected with many physiotherapy professionals and shared insights on technology-supported rehabilitation.

A highlight of the event was the workshop by Nici, our Head of Clinical Application:
“Technology-enhanced rehabilitation: increasing intensity, motivation and functional recovery.”

During the session, participants also had the opportunity to try our devices in combination with the tyroS software themselves — and the feedback was excellent.

Thank you to everyone who joined the session and exchanged ideas with us!

Many thanks to Marios Couvas for the great photos from the event — we really appreciate it! 📸🙌

In January 2026, our Clinical Application team delivered an on-site training at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, focusing on Amadeo for children with neurological conditions and orthopaedic injuries.

Amadeo, our robotic hand and finger rehabilitation device, enables intensive, task-oriented therapy through motivating, game-based exercises tailored to each child’s abilities.

A special highlight: several young patients tried the system during the session — and absolutely loved it. The interactive games once again showed how engaging pediatric rehabilitation can be.

Thank you to the highly motivated therapy team for the excellent collaboration! 💡

With our 3D Room Planning Tool powered by Roomle, planning and presenting therapy rooms becomes clear, visual, and reliable — for clinics and Tyromotion partners alike.

Instead of guessing how devices will fit, you can explore complete therapy room concepts in realistic 3D and even place them virtually in real rooms using AR. This creates transparency, reduces uncertainty early on, and supports confident decision-making across teams.

⭐ From total dependence to full independence.
Marlon Laight's journey shows what intensive, repetitive, and technology-supported rehabilitation can make possible.

After a severe brain injury, he couldn’t walk, climb stairs, feed himself, or use his hands. Daily life had to be managed entirely by others.

After his therapy at MOTIONrehab, Marlon lives independently in his own home, climbs stairs, cooks for himself, and has regained functional control of his arms and legs.

What made the difference?
➡️ High-repetition, task-specific training
➡️ Intensive robotic therapy for upper and lower extremities
➡️ A team that believes in neuroplasticity — and pushes for real outcomes

His story is a powerful reminder:
Repetition works. Robotics works. And patients can achieve far more than they think — with the right tools and team.

Say hi to David 👋
David is our Head of Technical Support, part of the Customer Care team, and based in Graz, Austria. He’s been with Tyromotion since 2022 and brings a strong background in mechanical engineering and automation.

☕ Fun fact: David is a certified barista — always happy to grab a coffee and chat.

Before joining Tyromotion, he worked as a support and application engineer in optical metrology. After a short “coffee break,” he found his way to our Customer Care team.

What motivates him most?
💬 “Seeing what is possible. Every little improvement, every motivated face. I love hearing the success stories of patients and former patients.”
