Some meetings remind us why human connection matters so much – and this one truly did. 🤝🤩

The latest meeting of CINT Volunteer Abril and newcomer Álvaro shows that what seems like a simple onboarding day can easily turn into a meaningful reflection on what it means to start a new life abroad. 💬🌍

Here’s what Abril shared about their meeting:
"Meeting Álvaro was a happy experience. It reminded me of my first time abroad, of the nostalgia one feels when becoming an expat and longing for all the good things you left behind but also excited about the new experiences. new places and people and all the willingness to take it all in and to just go for it!
We are in two different places in our lives right now, I've been where he is now and I hope he gets to the point where I am now, comfortable in his new city, with a wonderful set of friends and the confidence that he is where he is supposed to be.
I am profoundly happy knowing that he has the privilege to have a support network provided by CINT where not only will he be guided through bureaucracy in a foreign language but also the possibility to connect with other expats through meetings, workshops, trips, guided tours and all other exciting experiences CINT has to offer. I am sure Álvaro will be able to call Graz his home in no time. Thank you CINT for connecting us!"
