This course brings together a faculty of experienced lecturers noted for their expertise in central nervous system, musculoskeletal, body, applications of AI in radiology, MRI safety and dedicated female pelvic imaging. The three day onsite or online course focuses on current clinical applications and incorporates the latest technical advances. Ample time is provided for question and answer periods.

Dr. Russell Low completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at UCSF in 1990 followed by a body imaging fellowship at Stanford Medical Center. In a career that has spanned over 2 decades he has become a recognized expert in body MR imaging who has authored 60 peer reviewed articles and 7 book chapters. A frequently invited guest speaker Dr. Low has given over 300 educational lectures which convey his passion for body MRI. Always looking and exploring Dr. Low and his staff have helped to define body MRI, optimizing protocols and looking for new and unexpected clinical applications.

Dr. Johnson is currently the National Medical Director, MSCPA at RAYUS Radiology. He is also the Director of Regenerative Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree in physiology and his medical training at the University of Minnesota.

After his radiology residency at David Grant Medical Center in California, he completed a two-year neuroradiology fellowship at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Arizona. He then joined the staff and was subsequently appointed Chief of Neuroradiology at David Grant Medical Center in California.

Dr. Johnson also served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco, and subsequently as Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Dr. Johnson has authored and co-authored numerous articles and book chapters on neuroradiology topics including brain and spine imaging. He also authored and coauthored several publications on image-guided spine intervention.

He lectures extensively on these areas of interest at national and international forums. His contributions to organizations include serving on the ASSR Executive Committee, the ACR Committees on Economics, Human Resources, Coding and Nomenclature, the CMRS Board of Trustees, the ASNR Committee on Economics, ACR Commission on Neuroradiology and Magnetic Resonance, the ACR Expert Panel on Neuroimaging, the ASNR Research Committee, the ASNR Clinical Practice Committee, Chair of the ASNR Coding & Reimbursement Subcommittee and on the program committees of the ASNR and ASSR.

He is past president of the Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society. Dr. Johnson is a three-time recipient of the Editor’s Recognition Award for Distinction in Reviewing for Radiology. In 2010 he was inducted as a fellow of the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Phillip Tirman is an internationally recognized expert in the applications of Magnetic Resonance Imaging for evaluating orthopedic, sports medicine, and spine disorders.

He is the co-author of three textbooks, including MRI OF THE SHOULDER and DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING: ORTHOPAEDICS. He is also the author or co-author of over sixty original scientific articles published in the radiology and orthopedic literature.

Dr. Tirman did fellowship training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at The Cottage Community Magnetic Resonance Center in Santa Barbara and the San Francisco Magnetic Resonance Center (SFMRC) in San Francisco where he continued to practice and was named Medical Director.

Dr. Tirman was subsequently recruited from SFMRC to the prestigious National Orthopedic Imaging Associates Group where he worked closely with Dr. David Stoller and Rusty Fritz and was the NOIA Fellowship driector.

Dr. Tirman has been a manuscript reviewer for Radiology, the American Journal of Roentgenology, and the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He is a widely sought lecturer, has spoken at over fifty international meetings, and has been a pioneer of continuing medical education utilizing the World Wide Web.

Dr. Tirman is also a food and wine connoisseur and the author of the popular book THE WINE AND FOOD LOVER’S DIET, a James Beard award nominee.

Dr. Feller completed his undergraduate training in metallurgical engineering and materials science at the University of Notre Dame, graduating cm laude (1978-1982). He then attended the Ohio State University School of Medicine, graduating summa cm laude (1983-1987).

Dr. Feller subsequently completed four years of postgraduate medical training at Stanford University School of Medicine, culminating in board certification in Diagnostic Radiology (1987-1991). Following fellowship training in orthopedic and body MRI (1992), Dr. Feller served in the US Air Force as Chief of MRI at David Grant USAF Medical Center; a position he maintained for four years (1992-1996).

Dr. Feller is currently the Medical Director and Founding Partner of Desert Medical Imaging in California, and Chief of Radiology as well as a Partner in American Medical Center in Shanghai, China. Dr Feller has completed Level I and Level II Cardiac CT certification (2008). He was the MRI Consulting Radiologist for Desert Orthopedic Center from 1998 to 2010.

Dr Feller started an MRI based prostate cancer detection program in 2009 and is a Founder of The Focal Therapy Foundation for treatment of prostate cancer. He maintained an academic affiliation with Stanford University where he was an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology (1991-2006), and is now an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology at Loma Linda University.

Dr Feller was awarded the Volunteer Clinical Faculty Teacher of the Year in 1992-1993 from Stanford University Medical Center Department of Radiology. Dr. Feller has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and is an editor of the textbook Shoulder Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He has given over 300 invited lectures worldwide on orthopedic, prostate and body MR imaging.

Dr. Pinker-Domenig is Member at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Attending Radiologist at Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases and Professor of Radiology, Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York, USA.

She is the Director of Research and Director of Breast MRI, Breast Imaging Service/ Department of Radiology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is Affiliated Faculty at the Department of Scientific Computing at Florida State University, Tallahassee, USA and Research Associate at the Department of Radiology at the Medical University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria.

She is an expert in translational and clinical breast and oncologic gender imaging. Her research interests focus on molecular breast imaging with advanced high-field/ultra-high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) using multiple advanced MRI parameters and hybrid techniques, such as positron emission tomography (PET)/MRI with specific tracers and the application of AI in oncologic imaging to develop imaging biomarkers for precision medicine. She has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers in breast and oncologic imaging.
