Billy is a 3 month old golden doodle on his journey to becoming a guide dog! He is looking for a family to accompany him his first year of life until his official training can start. If you live in or around Vienna or Graz and are interested in helping this little boy out then feel free to message us!

So another little one, this time a goldendoodle from this group, of young’ uns. After picking him up, I drove him to a brilliant puppy raiser in Vienna yesterday. Can’t wait to see both of them embark on a journey to last a bit more than a year! Afterwards he will enter training officially, but trainer and puppy raiser remain in contact. And later, doors are open to the owner with low- or no vision to remain in touch with the puppy raisers. On the path to becoming a guide dog…Onwards and forwards with this new life and the 2- year project that every guide dog is. ,

In September, 3 Spanish guide dog teams were along on our incredible continuing education adventure, doing the Celtic Camino to Santiago de Compostela. Here we are at the tower of Hercules in A Coruña, cheering with the guide dogs!

Im September begleiteten 3 spanische Blindenhundeteams unser unglaubliches Weiterbildungsabenteuer auf dem keltischen Camino nach Santiago de Compostela. Hier sind wir am Turm des Herkules in A Coruña und jubeln mit den Blindenhunden!

En septiembre, 3 equipos de perros guía españoles nos acompañaron en nuestra increíble aventura de formación continua, haciendo el Camino Celta a Santiago de Compostela. Aquí estamos en la torre de Hércules en A Coruña, ¡animando con los perros guía!

Am 17.09.2024 gab es in Graz eine Sonderführung für blinde und sehbehinderte Personen der Kristian Schuller Ausstellung. Die gesamte Austellung besteht aus großen, von innen beleuchteten Leinwänden. Die Führung inkludierte 13 von den Fotografien, äußerst detailliert beschrieben. zusätzlich gab es von 7 davon Versionen zu ertasten. Es war eine wunderbare Darstellung davon, dass auch blinde Personen Kunst genießen können und sollen! Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei den zwei Kurratoren und den zwei Führern dafür, dass so etwas möglich war.

Wolfgang Niegelhell und sein weißer schweizer Schäferhund freuen sich schon irrsinnig auf die Pilgerreise in Spanien. Amando wird zum Zeitpunkt des Projekts knapp eineinhalb Jahre alt sein. Die zwei leben schon seit seiner achten Lebenswoche miteinander.
Wolfang selbst ist Komponist, Musiker und Sänger. Sein Motto "Musik macht das Leben sichtbar” darf er selbst zum Leuchten bringen, wenn er in Santiago de Compostela mit weiteren Musikern ein Konzert spielt am Ende der Reise.
