It’s been a little quiet over here.
I’ve been struggling with this platform that only seems to be getting faster paced and more superficial every day. AI is taking over, fakeness is everywhere and lots of companies outsource their social media appearance.
Sharing seems to become more impersonal and mostly irrelevant. If you don’t play along the rules, you get muted.

I decided that I’d rather share heartfelt revelations in my monthly moon letter (sorry only in german) for now.

This is what I’m going to do for the next 10 days as I’m about to enter my first silent retreat .yoga

I’ll use the time to contemplate about
LOVE & FEAR.
Two feelings which have been strongly present during this year.

Looking back at the pictures of
Yoga.Kitchen 8.0 feels like a dream.
This place is so dear to my heart and fueled with a million memories. 18 people gathered here last week and co-created something quite fundamental. Next to yoga we practiced the art of creative expression, deep listening, and pure mindfulness. We couldn’t have asked for a better vessel - or prettier fall. That was probably one of the smoothest Retreats I ever got the be part of. Truly grateful for this beautiful community.

Thank you for being part of the magic 🪄 Together we shape-shift reality.

Rumi said „As you start to walk on the way,
the way appears.” Clarity doesn’t come before action.
It comes from action.

And that’s exactly what we did.
We moved our Body, Mind and Soul from
Marrakech to one of the biggest dunes
of the vast Sahara.

24 brave souls took a leap of faith and joined us
into the deep Desert. This was and my 5th cycle. It never fails to amaze me how each year can feel so different. The experience is profoundly shaped by the group. Energies, intentions, inner processes, and outer circumstances (this year it rained during our silent morning!) are in constant cocreation.

Thanks to every single one for making this a journey to remember. Also for the musical support & the Kundalini activation .at! Rarely I’ve witnessed such a big group going so deep during practice, being so disciplined, pure and considerate. We are feeling truly blessed by the people we pull into our Vortex.

Everything begins with an idea.
Sabine aka asked me at our
Holistika Summer Day Fest, if I could imagine
doing a Mountain Edition
- The spark was immediatly ignited!

My intuition said YES and the first Nicoya Community Retreat was born. (btw that’s how I make decisions 99% of the time)

Looking back, those days spent in the mountains exceeded our expectations.

The Retreat was sold out with 44 yogis joining, the program was super versatile, the tribe vibes where one of a kind and to put the cherry on the cake - it snowed until the last morning and turned our surrounding into a winter wonderland.

With spring kicking in now, those wintery days feel
like a surreal dream.

Thanks keeping the spark alive & being part of this adventure.

radical well-being since 2016

What a ride it’s been.

From spontaneously opening a yoga studio (only two months after returning from a world trip with almost no teaching experience) to evolving into a space that is important of so many people’s everyday life.

It truly became a place where we can surrender and breathe a little deeper.

I love the old charm, the imperfect perfection, the noisy wooden floor, our mural guards, how the sound travels and every corner seem to feel a little different.

Those old walls contain so much soul and history.
Sometimes I ask myself what they would tell us and if they like the transition from my mother’s child’s room to my grandparents last home to this beautiful vessel for self-exploration.

Whether you are a regular or just visited briefly. You are part of this labour of love. The energy we create in here is so pure.

From all the mind-blowing places I got to teach in the past nine years, this room stays my absolute favourite. This place is home.

Big thanks to my beautiful TEAM and the variety of special people that get pulled into the Nicoya vortex.
I’m very touched by our collective journey.

Let’s keep shining bright together.
