About 60% of the people doing our programme have previously completed a crash-course “weekend-workshop” kinda course and realised: this won’t do.

Understanding bodies, movement, people, the foundations of the pilates method, the science of load and control… that CAN’T be learned in days!

I have been doing this for nearly 15 years, now.
I have taught over 12,000 Yoga and Pilates classes.
Held space for over 100,000 people.
Ran 3 successful but often-times heart-wrenching businesses.
Countless 80-hour weeks
And NOT ONCE have I thought: This is not what I want.

But tell me to smile for the camera? And I’m out.

This is our vibe.

We’re not going to kill you in class.
We’re not going to push you until you fall off the machine.
We’re not going to waste what precious time we have with you to try and get you to burn a few extra calories.
We have no mirrors for selfies.

Instead, you will start to feel lasting change. In the way you move. In the way your little pains and niggles start to disappear. In the way you feel in control of your body and start to notice that you can do things you could never do before. That is reformer pilates.

That is worth so much more than how things look and what your numbers say.

At least that’s what we believe!

Becoming a great Pilates teacher takes more than just a few days. It takes time, mentoring and practice .

Our Reformer Pilates Teacher Training in Vienna is a two-month, in-depth programme that builds real teaching skills, solid movement and anatomy knowledge, and a grounded understanding of the Pilates method.

Facilitated by international teachers with over 50 years of combined industry experience, it’s about learning to teach real bodies, not trends.

Keeping up your Reformer Pilates practice this winter will be SO worth it.

When things get hard, we fall back to our habits. Good or bad, whatever we are used to doing? Comes easily, becomes our default.

First impressions matter.

All studios I’ve built have had one thing in common. The first impressions is: comforting.

Happy colours, encouraging words, friendly faces, un-intimidating and imperfect spaces.

Cause for many of us, it’s kinda scary to try something new. Leave our comfort zone. Put ourselves out there.

But that’s where growth happens - outside our comfort zone. And I know how validating it is, when we make ourselves vulnerable and are met with kindness and encouragement and the feeling that however we chose to, (or managed to) show up, was perfect.

That’s how we do things here, at .studio. That’s how we do all the things.

“I don’t think I would have had the courage to come here if everything had been fancy and perfect”

was all I needed to hear when I finally opened this studio that, after builder scams, construction fails, court cases, delays, burglaries and months of DIY projects, was so far from perfect.

No need to be perfect here. We‘re not either 🤷‍♀️❤️
