🇦🇹 Turbinoplastik

Eine Muschelhyperplasie bzw. vergrößerte Nasenmuscheln sind ein häufiger Grund für eingeschränkte Nasenatmung 👃. Typisch sind seitenwechselnde Verstopfung, Verschlechterung im Liegen bzw. beim Schlafen 😴 und Allergien 🌿.

Zunächst erfolgt eine gründliche Diagnostik mit Endoskopie 🔍 und Allergietestung, gefolgt von einer konservativen Therapie 💊. Erst bei anhaltenden Beschwerden wird eine Operation empfohlen.

Die Turbinoplastik erfolgt endoskopisch und schleimhautschonend. Überschüssiges Gewebe wird gezielt entfernt, die Schleimhaut weitgehend erhalten. Dadurch ist das Risiko für Narben oder Riechstörungen 👃❌ deutlich reduziert.
Bei Bedarf Kombination mit Septumplastik (Nasenscheidewandbegradigung).

🇬🇧 Turbinoplasty

Inferior turbinate hypertrophy, or enlarged nasal turbinates, commonly causes impaired nasal breathing 👃. Typical symptoms include alternating blockage, worsening when lying down or sleeping 😴 and allergies 🌿.

A thorough diagnostic work-up with endoscopy 🔍 and allergy testing is performed first, followed by conservative treatment 💊. Surgery is considered only if symptoms persist.

Turbinoplasty is performed endoscopically and with preservation of the mucosa. Excess tissue is selectively removed, reducing the risk of scarring or smell disturbance 👃❌.
If required, it can be combined with septoplasty.

Hipertrofija nosnih školjki (uvećane nosne školjke) čest je uzrok otežanog disanja kroz nos 👃. Tipični su naizmjenična zapušenost, pogoršanje u ležećem položaju ili tokom spavanja 😴 i alergije 🌿.

Prvo se provodi detaljna dijagnostika s endoskopijom 🔍 i alergološkim testiranjem, nakon čega slijedi konzervativna terapija 💊. Operacija se razmatra samo ako simptomi potraju.

Turbinoplastika se izvodi endoskopski uz očuvanje sluznice, čime se smanjuje rizik od ožiljaka i poremećaja mirisa 👃❌.
Po potrebi se kombinira sa septoplastikom.

🇦🇹 Septumperforationsverschluss – Verschluss eines Nasenscheidewandlochs

Indikationen für den Eingriff:
➡️ Behinderte Nasenatmung
➡️ Pfeif- oder Strömungsgeräusche beim Einatmen
➡️ Krustenbildung und wiederkehrende Reizungen

Der Verschluss ist bei allen Ursachen möglich:
➡️ posttraumatisch
➡️ postentzündlich
➡️ idiopathisch (unklare Ursache)

Der Eingriff erfolgt offen oder endoskopisch, abhängig von Größe und Lokalisation der Perforation.
Die Operation wird in Vollnarkose durchgeführt und dauert in der Regel 90–120 Minuten.

🇬🇧 Septal Perforation Repair

Indications for surgery:
➡️ Impaired nasal breathing
➡️ Whistling or airflow noises during inhalation
➡️ Crusting and nasal irritation

Repair is possible for perforations of all causes:
➡️ post-traumatic
➡️ post-inflammatory
➡️ idiopathic (unknown cause)

The procedure is performed open or endoscopically, depending on the size and location of the perforation.
It is carried out under general anaesthesia and usually takes 90–120 minutes.

Zahvat je moguć kod perforacija svih uzroka:
➡️ posttraumatskih
➡️ postupalnih
➡️ idiopatskih (nepoznat uzrok)

Operacija se izvodi otvoreno ili endoskopski, ovisno o veličini i lokalizaciji perforacije.
Provodi se u općoj anesteziji i traje približno 90–120 minuta.

🇦🇹 Tonsillektomie - Mandelentfernung

Indikationen für OP:
➡️ Wiederkehrende Mandelentzündungen
➡️ Vergrößerte Mandeln, die Atemprobleme oder Schnarchen verursachen
➡️ Bildung von Mandelsteinen

Die Operation dauert in der Regel ca. 15–30 Minuten und wird in Vollnarkose sowie gewebsschonend durchgeführt.
Postoperative Schmerzen werden mit individuell angepassten Medikamenten gut kontrolliert.
Nach etwa 10–14 Tagen ist die Wundheilung meist abgeschlossen und der gewohnte Alltag wieder problemlos möglich.

🇬🇧 Tonsillectomy

Indications:
➡️ Recurrent tonsillitis
➡️ Enlarged tonsils causing breathing problems or snoring
➡️ Tonsil stones

The procedure usually takes 15–30 minutes and is performed under general anaesthesia, using tissue-preserving techniques.
Postoperative pain is effectively managed with appropriate medication.
After around 10–14 days, healing is usually complete and normal daily activities can be resumed.

Indikacije:
➡️ Ponavljajuće upale krajnika
➡️ Povećani krajnici koji uzrokuju smetnje disanja ili hrkanje
➡️ Tonsilni kamenci

Zahvat traje otprilike 15–30 minuta i izvodi se u općoj anesteziji, uz poštedan pristup tkivu.
Bol nakon operacije uspješno se kontrolira odgovarajućom terapijom.
Nakon 10–14 dana oporavak je uglavnom završen i povratak svakodnevnim aktivnostima je moguć.
