🏥 Austrumu slimnīcas Radioloģijas centra Invazīvās radioloģijas nodaļa ir uzņemta starptautiskās akreditācijas organizācijas Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe izveidotajā invazīvās onkoloģijas akreditācijas sistēmā (IASIOS).

💡 Austrumu slimnīca ir pirmā ārstniecības iestāde Latvijā, kas uzsākusi kvalitātes standartizēšanas procesu invazīvās onkoradioloģijas jomā, apliecinot apņemšanos nodrošināt augstākās kvalitātes aprūpi onkoloģijas pacientiem.

📊 Kopš 2026. gada marta Austrumu slimnīcas Invazīvās radioloģijas nodaļa ir iekļauta 44 pasaules līmeņa ārstniecības iestāžu sarakstā, kas uzsākušas akreditācijas procesu. IASIOS ir vienīgā programma pasaulē, kas sertificē invazīvās onkoloģijas pakalpojumus nodrošinošas ārstniecības iestādes, un dalība tajā nozīmē pievienošanos starptautiskai kopienai ar augstākajiem kvalitātes standartiem. 🌐

👩‍⚕️ Radioloģijas centra vadītāja Aina Kratovska uzsver:
“Mēs lepojamies kļūt par pirmo ārstniecības iestādi Latvijā, kas ir uzsākusi kvalitātes standartizēšanas procesu invazīvās onkoradioloģijas jomā, apliecinot apņemšanos nodrošināt augstākās kvalitātes aprūpi pacientiem. ✅ Akreditācijas uzsākšanai bija nepieciešama ne tikai dažādu dokumentu iesniegšana, bet arī pašanalīzes testa veikšana, kurš uzrādīja 86% prasību izpildi, kas apliecina mūsu slimnīcas Radioloģijas centra augsto atbilstību starptautiskajiem standartiem un gatavību sekmīgai akreditācijas iegūšanai.

🔬 Kas ir invazīvā onkoradioloģija?
Tā ir mūsdienīga un pacientam saudzīga pieeja vēža ārstēšanā, kur audzēji tiek ārstēti ar minimāli invazīvām metodēm, izmantojot attēldiagnostiku (datortomogrāfiju, ultrasonogrāfiju, magnētisko rezonansi).
✔️ Ablācija – audzēja iznīcināšana ar karstumu vai aukstumu
✔️ Medikamentu ievadīšana tieši audzējā
✔️ Embolizācija – audzēja asinsrites bloķēšana

Šī pieeja ļauj precīzi iedarboties uz audzēju, saudzēt veselus audus, samazināt komplikāciju risku un bieži izvairīties no lielām operācijām. 💙

Any centre that registers and enrols during from 1 to 20 April will have their 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗲 (𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 €𝟳,𝟱𝟬𝟬) 𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗗. You only pay the €5,000 Enrolment Fee.

🎉 We are proud to announce that Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany, has become an IASIOS Accredited Centre! It is very inspiring to see the network of German hospitals committed to high-quality care in interventional oncology flourish.

As interventional oncology continues to transform cancer care through precise, image-guided, minimally invasive treatments, it is becoming more integrated into comprehensive cancer care strategies. IASIOS accreditation addresses the need for consistency and quality in providing IO treatments by offering external assessment and validation against international standards.

Achieving Accredited Centre status means that the interventional oncology patient pathway at Charité complies with the core criteria of the CIRSE Standards of Quality Assurance in Interventional Oncology. This reflects a structured approach to delivering safe, consistent, and high-quality IO care.
