The International miCROPe Symposium address the basic and applied aspects of applying beneficial mic

The global demographic development and climate change pose a threat on crop production in many areas. There is a need to intensify agricultural production in a sustainable manner and to find solutions to combat abiotic stress, pathogens and pests. Plants are associated with complex microbiomes, which are known to promote plant growth and stress tolerance, support plant nutrition and antagonize plant pathogens. The integration of beneficial plant-microbe and microbiome interactions might represent a promising solution to improve agricultural production. miCROPe 2017 will address key issues related to the application of microbial products in crop production and encompass aspects ranging from basic understanding to commercial application. We welcome participants from academia, industry as well as from the public and farming sector and look forward to discuss latest developments in this field. We hope that you will join “miCROPe 2017” to discuss the most recent research findings and their implications for agricultural application and look forward to welcoming you in Vienna, 21 to 24 November 2017.

THIS WAS miCROPe 2024 🍃

We hope all participants savely reached home and the heat is treating you fairly. The miCROPe 2024 was a big success. We welcomed 279 participants from 37 countries on almost all continents. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our shared time was split between listening to inspiring lectures, discussing the newest insights and trends in our field, fine food and networking.

Congratulations to the awardees of this year’s FEMS - Federation of European Microbiological Societies ECS grants and to Best Poster and Best Talk Prizes winners! We all hope to see you at the next miCROPe.
