Attention! Students from Austria 🇦🇹, Germany 🇩🇪, and Switzerland 🇨🇭 are invited to the JIR reception at the upcoming IROS congress in Salzburg (January 15-17, 2026).

The reception will mark the one-year anniversary of JIR (Young Interventional Radiology) section of the German Society of Interventional Radiology (DeGIR), and will include a short retrospective of their activities, as well as an informal networking event. The goal of the event is to raise awareness of JIR and interventional radiology among young colleagues - particularly medical students and early-career residents - which aligns with CIRSE’s mission directed at supporting the next generation of IRs.

Undergraduate medical students can register for the congress free of charge and it is an excellent opportunity for students from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to extend their networks across borders.
