A non-contrast CT scan was initially performed due to suspicion of vertebral fracture, revealing an osteolytic lesion of the vertebral body. Electromyography was non-specific and showed no significant abnormalities. A subsequent MRI was obtained for further lesion characterisation and assessment of local extent.

Time to put your radiology skills to the test!

A 45-year-old female cyclist presented with a painless swelling of the right labium majus recurring after cycling. Clinical examination showed a firm subcutaneous nodule. The patient reported long-term intensive cycling with symptom recurrence after training sessions. Given the lesion’s deep subcutaneous location and firm consistency, MRI was chosen to exclude a soft-tissue neoplasm and guide management.

This image hides a classic diagnosis — but can you identify it? 🤔💡

A) Aggressive angiomyxoma
B) Biker’s nodule (perineal nodular induration)
C) Angiomyofibroblastoma
D) Perineal endometriosis
