When I’m working with clients, it’s important for me to use a deck that’s very visually accessible—especially if I’m doing an in-tandem reading where I encourage the client to share their impressions and associations about the cards that come up.

I consider those decks to be my “workhorse” decks.

They’re usually based on the Rider-Waite deck and feature bold, colorful images with commonly used/understood characters, elements, and symbolic references.

My workhorse decks are:

🦋 The Light Seer’s Tarot deck
⚡️ The Tarot Illuminati deck
🍯 The Morgan Greer Tarot deck

When I’m doing deeper inner work or working with someone who has a solid grasp on more complex symbols and even stories, I use a variety of decks where I not only use the cards as my focus, but also the information in the guidebook. This helps me to expand my understanding of a situation and also opens up so much more nuance for me to consider.

Working my way through The Artist’s Way. I’ve been really good about doing my Morning Pages, but not so good with my Artist Dates and the other assignments.

And I’ve stretched the 12 weeks to much, much longer.

I keep thinking I might start at the beginning again and power through it, but now I want to re-commit to finishing once through and then start at the beginning again.

I started blowing cinnamon into my house on the first of the month. It’s a pretty powerful prosperity ritual that has helped me manifest over $7k in the past year.

It’s really simple, too. Just go outside of your door with your cinnamon into hand. Shake a bit into your hand (either one is fine, but your dominant hand might be best).

Ficus on infusing the cinnamon with power to help you achieve your desired goals. Because cinnamon is a hot spice, you can use it for passion, motivation, creativity, business success—things of that nature.

When you’re ready, simply blow the cinnamon into your house.

Instead of using tarot cards for a yes or no reading, I highly suggest working with a pendulum.

You need to try to be as still as possible when you connect with your pendulum. Ask it to show you what YES looks like and what NO looks like. One will usually be a forward and backward motion and one will be left and right.

Then ask it a couple of simple questions: Is my name so and so? Do I live at this address? Do I have 7 children? Ask a mix of questions that will be either yes or no.

Once you're happy and trust that your pendulum is giving you proper answers, you can start asking it whatever yes or no question you had to begin with.

If you get swirlies or something that deviates from the yes/no pattern, that simply means that it's not a yes or no question and/or that you need more information or time to pass before you can make a decision.
