Flavour Creations is now recognised as a global leader for innovation in the industry, producing more than 100,000 cups of pre-thickened liquid per day alongside a growing range of targeted food first nutritional solutions, employing over 100 staff locally and restoring dignity and independence to thousands of people all over the world. Bernadette was named a Finalist in the Innovation & Technology category at the recent 2016 Brisbane Region Women in Business Awards. She has also been shortlisted in the Commonwealth Bank Business Owner Award, the Nokia Innovation Award and was a finalist in two categories of the 2009 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.

The festive season is about celebrating together, and with Instant THICK, everyone can enjoy their favourite drinks safely.

For those living with dysphagia, here’s a simple way to enjoy a cold beer:
1. Pour the beer into a glass. We recommend ###X Gold for a true Queensland experience.
2. Add Instant THICK Liquid. Follow our Dosage Guide for your desired IDDSI level.
3. Stir gently for 30 seconds, then allow it to stand for 2 minutes. Re-stir until the correct consistency is reached before serving.

Enjoy responsibly. Sip slowly and savour the moment.

Pro Tip: Add a pinch of sugar to the beer before stirring in Instant THICK Liquid to help settle some of the bubbles.

Create classic Christmas shortbread with ease using AdVital Nutritionally Complete Neutral Powder. These buttery cookies are perfect for gifting, decorating, or serving during the festive season.

𝐀𝐝𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐬
Makes 45 Cookies (10–12g each)

Ingredients
• 170g Unsalted butter
• 60g Icing sugar
• 80g AdVital Nutritionally Complete Neutral Powder
• 170g All-purpose flour

Method
1. Preheat oven to 160–170°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Cream butter and icing sugar until soft and creamy.
3. Mix in AdVital Nutritionally Complete Powder, then gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms.
4. Roll dough into 10–12g balls and flatten slightly or shape as desired.
5. (Optional) Chill for 10–15 minutes to help cookies keep their shape.
6. Bake for 8–12 minutes, until just set:
• ~10g cookies: 8-10 minutes;
• ~12g cookies: 10-12 minutes.
7. Cool on tray for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

We were proud to support the Metro North Health Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital National Speech Pathology Workshops from 28–30 October.

The event brought together speech pathologists from across Australia to share knowledge and advance care for people with dysphagia.

At our trade stand we showcased our full range of IDDSI-compliant dysphagia nutrition solutions, from thickeners and ready-to-drink beverages to texture-modified snacks.

Highlights this year included our latest innovations:

We had such a great time this week at both the Chempro and Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse Training Days!
