Dear Patients,
Elizabeth street medical centre at 5 Mitchell will be closed as of 17/05/2024.
All the service will temporarily move to Acacia Ridge Medical Centre (across the road next to Terrywhite Pharmacy). Our new location at 641 Ipswich Road, Annerley will open on 03/06/2024. The clinic phone number will remain the same 07 32777500. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact us for more information.

Attention Dr Patel's patients

From 1st January 2023 Dr Patel has moved to mixed billing

Standard consult 20 min (Multiple problems)
$100 (Medicare Rebate $76.95) Out of Pocket Cost (OOP) $23.05

Telephone Consultation
$60 (Medicare Rebate $39.75) Out of Pocket Cost (OOP) $20.25

Following patients will be bulk billed for standard consultations:

1. children 16 and under
2. Current health care card and pension card holders
3. DVA gold and/or white card holders
4. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders

Following services will continue to be bulk billed for all patients:

Care plans, care plan reviews, mental health care plans, mental health care plan reviews, health assessments and skin excisions.

Miscellaneous fees:

Consults for legal reports, medical and WorkCover, insurance or driving medicals are charged using AMA rates.

After decades of commitment to the health and well being of families across Acacia Ridge and beyond, Dr Heijm has retired at the end of 2022.

Patients are able to be seen by any of the other highly qualified Drs at the practice.
