Medical Receptionist/s for a Newcastle Podiatry Clinic – Casual
Hourly rate $27.02 - $30.59 based on education and experience
About us
We are a busy private practice in Adamstown Newcastle with a team of five podiatrists. We have a loyal and growing patient base, and we are focused on providing the very best equitable health care to all our patients in an environment that is respectful, educational and welcoming. Experience is a bonus but we will hire and train the right person/s for this role.
Qualifications & experience
• Exceptional customer service skills with previous customer service experience an advantage
• Excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner.
• Detail-orientated.
• Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a multifaceted team and independently.
• Neat and professional presentation.
• Flexibility with hours
Tasks & responsibilities
• Manage all patient transactions including booking appointments, registering new patients and patient induction
• Manage the greeting, registration and departure of patients
• Ability to assist Podiatrists when necessary.
• Perform basic cleaning duties of the clinic.
• Sterilisation of instruments
• Ensure accurate billings and receipting for patient services
• Answering telephone calls & enquiries.
• Managing patient correspondence, both incoming and outgoing
