Iron infusion services are available at Calvary Adelaide Hospital Emergency Department.

Calvary Adelaide Emergency Department offers iron infusion services in a private hospital setting, under the care of experienced emergency specialists.

With iron medication available on-site, your treatment can be provided without the extra step of organising medication elsewhere. A GP referral is required, and the total fee is $300, including iron medication. To reduce wait times, we recommend arriving before 10 a.m.

Early warning signs can include:
• Worsening cough or wheeze
• Chest tightness
• Shortness of breath
• Needing your reliever more often

✅ Check that your preventer and reliever are in date
