There are moments in this industry that all providers may prepare for, but when the time comes, you are still left speechless.

Last week we said goodbye to a very special person. Someone who has left a hole in our hearts.

Sean, it was a pleasure to be beside you in health, but a privilege to support you in the final stages of your life.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Brian, Margie, Daryl, and the whole of Sean’s family. We remain committed to being people you can lean on during this difficult time.

To the brilliant support team and Skye who worked with Sean, there are no words for how proud we are. You showed care, respect, love, and embodied everything we stand for. Even in sadness, your thoughts and actions remain completely centred on Sean and his family.

Rest peacefully, Sean, and thank you for allowing us the honour of supporting you. 🌹

Best. Chrissy. Present. Ever! Kerry was Brittany’s first shift in this industry over 5 years ago and a big part of the love she holds for her job and the beginning of Attend. One of Kerry’s hobbies has always been quilting. Every shift with Kerry our girls work on her Jigsaw 🧩 & she makes us a Coffee ☕️ this year we were spoilt enough to have our very own quilt made! Cannot wait to put this up in our office. Some people really leave a mark on you, and this beautiful lady has left a mark on MUCH of the Attend team. Thank you Kerry 🌷

Coordinate recruitment, roster support, admin, and compliance to support our team and ensure meaningful, person centred care for participants.

It has been such a pleasure and so much fun to start celebrating our first Christmas in the new office! We are so lucky to share this space with all of our Attend family. 🤩🩷

A reminder that next Thursday 18th December will be our last fun-day for the year, this one will be an open day from 10:30am > 3:30pm. We will be having an all day BBQ, crafts & activities. All of our staff, participants and carers are welcome to pop in during the day for something to eat and some refreshments. We can’t wait to see you! (We are certain Lea will kick us out of the kitchen and prepare something yummy!🧑‍🍳 )🎄🤶🎄🤶🎄

2 of our amazing Care Coordinators, Lea & Skye, making scones on social day last week. Our "Thursday Friends Day" happens fortnightly and is run by our newest team edition, Skye. She has already brainstormed a whole year of activites to carry out in our community area at 36 Ann Street! All participants serviced by Attend Support are welcome to join us.

Today is a very bittersweet day, as we say farewell to our wonderful Anthony! Anthony has been our head rostering & administration officer since 2023 and has been here through all the changes and wins. He has created such beautiful relationships through his little green work phone, and is so adored by staff & participants. Everyone will miss you so much Povi, but we cannot wait to see you grow in your new role working in your families business! 💙
