The Spoon Theory helps explain what it’s like living with chronic illness or disability 🥄

Each task, like getting dressed, cooking, working, or socialising, costs a spoon. Some days you start with plenty, other days you wake up with only a few. Once the spoons are gone, that’s it, you can’t borrow more without paying for it tomorrow.

This is where Occupational Therapy can help. We work with you to prioritise tasks, conserve energy, and adapt your routines so you can do more of what matters without burning out. OT helps you make every spoon count!

The Sky/Grass/Dirt letter concept offers a clear visual guide to help young children learn letter sizing and placement.

Letters are grouped into three sizes:
☁️Sky - for tall letters like f and h
🌿Grass - for small letters like a and e
🌱Dirt - for hanging letters like g and y

We find this approach works well for our young visual learners. And by supporting letter sizing and placement, handwriting legibility naturally improves📝
