Did you know? Your phone is the enemy of deep sleep. The blue light suppresses melatonin, but the "mental light" as in the news, the emails, the social comparisons is what really keeps you awake.

💤Removing devices from the bedroom can increase sleep duration by an average of 20 minutes per night.

⏰Charge your phone in the kitchen tonight. Use a real alarm clock.

❓Ever wonder why you reach for your phone the second you're bored?

It’s a Dopamine Loop. Every notification triggers a tiny hit of dopamine, training your brain to seek the next "ping." Over time, this exhausts your nervous system and makes it harder to focus on the things that actually matter.

TIP 🔥 Turn off all non-human notifications today. If it’s not a real person reaching out, you don't need a buzz in your pocket.

Did January feel like a sprint to you? The pressure to 'be productive' can lead us into burnout.

If your screen time climbed while your energy dropped, February is your "Real Start."

Reclaim your brain's "quiet space" by decreasing your screen time - even if only slightly each day!

🌟🌟Research shows that reducing screen time by just 30 minutes a day can lower anxiety by up to 16%!

On a scale of 1-10 ..... how "full" does your brain feel today? 👇

Give the 2 minute Rule a go! ⏱️

When you start a new habit, it should take less than two minutes to do.

- Instead of "Read for 30 minutes," try "Read one page."
- Instead of "Do a full workout," try "Put on my sneakers."

The goal is simply to show up. Once you’ve mastered the art of showing up, the habit becomes part of your identity, and the intensity can grow naturally. Starting is often the greatest challenge so let’s make starting easy.

The easiest way to start a new habit is to "piggyback" it onto something you already do. This is called 'Habit Stacking'

The formula = After [Current Habit] ... I will [New Habit].

🌟After I put the kettle on, I will do 2 minutes of mindful breathing.

🌟After I brush my teeth, I will write down one thing I’m grateful for.

By using an established anchor, you don't have to rely on willpower alone. What's your first "stack" going to be? Have some fun with it! 😁

The pressure to overhaul your entire life as the clock ticks into a new year, often leads to burnout by February. This year, let’s focus on sustainable evolution rather than a total revolution.

👉What is one small, gentle shift that would make your daily life feel more "okay"?

For many, the festive season means endless socializing. Even if you love your friends and family, engaging with others requires energy and that energy is limited (exhaustible!).

If you feel drained, you need this tool...
👉 THE SCHEDULED SOLITUDE APPOINTMENT

🔋Look at your calendar.
🔋Find the gaps between events.
🔋Block out time as an "appointment" with yourself.
🔋Treat it with the same respect you would a doctor's appointment. You cannot cancel it for someone else's last minute invite.

Use this time to recharge your social battery in whatever way works for you, completely alone. Protecting your solitude is essential for showing up well when you are with others.

To "make the most" of the Christmas break can sometimes feel like another job or pressure in itself!

**Try this awesome RECOVERY TOOL**
👉 The Zero Expectation Time Block!

This isn't about napping (though naps are great!). It’s about carving out a specific period (maybe two hours, maybe a whole afternoon - whatever works) where the only goal is to exist WITHOUT PRODUCING, SOCIALISING OR ACHIEVING. Watch terrible TV, stare out the window, lay on the floor and listen to music.

REST DOES NOT NEED TO BE PRODUCTIVE TO BE VALUABLE. Sometimes, the most healing thing you can do is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
