“Your results are all normal” doesn’t always mean everything is fine ❌

And if you have ever walked away from an appointment still feeling like something isn’t right, you’re not overthinking it.

I speak with so many women who experience painful periods, irregular cycles, spotting, fatigue, acne, or hormonal symptoms that have been brushed off because their blood work looked okay on paper.

But here’s the thing 👉A standard blood test only tells part of the story.

Fertility is influenced by so much more than a single marker falling inside a lab range. Things like ovulation quality, thyroid function, insulin resistance, nutrient status, and hormone patterns across the cycle can all play a role and aren’t often captured in a basic panel 🩸

Your symptoms are data, and they deserve to be taken seriously.

If you’ve been told everything looks normal, but something still doesn’t feel right, and you’re still not seeing those two pink lines, there’s often something more worth exploring 🌸

My 12-Week Fertility Boosting Program is designed to help you look deeper, understand what may actually be influencing your fertility, and move forward with a plan that’s built around you.

POV: you thought trying for a baby would feel exciting and romantic 😖😖😖

Before it quickly became tracking, Googling, supplement shopping, overthinking every symptom, and trying to “stay calm” while quietly falling apart 🫠

One minute you feel organised and hopeful. The next you’re deep in a Reddit thread at midnight, convincing yourself that extra coffee three weeks ago ruined everything 😅

And then someone tells you to “just relax” 🙃

Or that everything “looks normal” on paper while you are standing there feeling anything but normal.

The jump from hopeful to emotionally exhausted can happen so fast when you are TTC. And the loneliness of carrying all of that quietly is something most people around you will never fully understand 🤍

Hit ❤️ if this sounds like your experience, or send to a friend who you know is going through this journey, so she knows she’s not alone 💕

More supplements doesn’t always mean better fertility outcomes 💊❌

So many women come to me with a shelf full of products they started with the best intentions. CoQ10, vitamin D, myo-inositol, folate, prenatals... and no real clarity on whether any of it’s actually right for them.

And that’s the thing, the right supplement choice depends on your cycle, your symptoms, your diet, your blood work, and your overall health picture. What works for one woman may be completely unnecessary, or even counterproductive, for another.

Just cause it’s been recommended by some influencer doesn’t always mean it’s appropriate. And more is not always better 🙅‍♀️

Supplements should support a strong foundation, not replace it.

If you want clarity on what supplements are actually worth taking to support your fertility (backed by evidence), book a free 20-minute discovery call via the link in bio or comment “SUPPLEMENTS” 💕

Nobody really prepares you for how lonely TTC can feel 😔

The two-week wait. The hope that builds quietly every month.

The devastation when it doesn’t work out again. And then the advice.

“Just relax.”

“It’ll happen when the time is right.”

“Have you tried not thinking about it?”

As if you haven’t already thought of that 🫠

So many women I speak with are carrying all of this completely silently. Holding it together on the outside while falling apart on the inside. And the hardest part? Feeling like there’s nothing you can do but wait.

But that is not the full picture. There is so much you can do to actively support your fertility and your health while you’re on this journey. You do not have to white-knuckle your way through every cycle alone ✨

Most fertility advice focuses on what to remove 🚫

However, one of the most impactful shifts you can make is what you consistently include in your diet.

Polyphenols are compounds found in plant foods that do more than just act as antioxidants.

They act as fuel for your gut microbiome, and your gut microbiome plays a central role in:

🦠Regulating inflammation
🦠Supporting hormone metabolism
🦠Influencing ovulation and implantation
🦠Absorbing key nutrients required for fertility

When your gut bacteria break down polyphenols, they produce compounds that help calm inflammation and support immune balance.

This is particularly important when trying to conceive, because even low-grade inflammation can interfere with hormone signalling, egg + s***m quality and implantation.

Your gut also helps regulate oestrogen.
Which means the composition and health of your microbiome can directly influence how effectively oestrogen is processed and cleared.

The goal isn’t perfection.

It’s diversity 🌈

The more variety in your plant intake, the more resilient and supportive your gut microbiome tends to be 🌱

Start small, by adding in one or two polyphenol-rich foods you’re not currently eating consistently and build from there 🫒

📌Save this post as a simple starting point 🤍

If you want to understand what your gut microbiome actually looks like and how it may be influencing your fertility, I offer comprehensive gut microbiome testing and analysis as part of my personalised fertility progam and consultations.

Did you know that your egg quality is not just about your age?

I wish more women were told this sooner.

So many women come to me feeling like time is running out, when actually there are underlying factors quietly influencing egg health that have nothing to do with how old they are 🤔

Things like:
🫶 Oxidative stress
🫶 Blood sugar dysregulation
🫶 Nutrient deficiencies
🫶 Thyroid imbalances
🫶 Chronic low-grade inflammation

These are the kinds of things that rarely get investigated early enough, but they matter.

Here’s what gives me hope though 👇

Egg quality is not fixed. Eggs take around 90 days to finalise maturing before ovulation, so the habits, nutrients, and support you give your body right now have a real window to make a difference.

You don’t need to do everything perfectly. But understanding what’s actually happening in your body? That’s where things start to shift ✨

If you’ve been doing “all the right things” and still not getting answers, there may be more worth exploring 🌿

If you’d like support uncovering what might be influencing your egg quality, DM me “EGGS” to book a free 20-minute discovery call with me! 💕
