Flu Vaccines Now Available!

It's important to protect yourself and others from the flu, and this is especially so for people at risk of complications from the flu!

Private vaccines cost $10 for Medicare card holders (available now!)

People eligible for FREE government funded vaccines include children aged under 5, people aged 65 and above, pregnant women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people with serious medical conditions. *(will be available end March - Please check with our staff for more information.)

Private vaccines cost $10 for Medicare card holders. (available now)

Each year influenza (flu) vaccine is developed to protect you against the most common strains of flu. The flu vaccine is recommended for any person six months of age and over who wishes to reduce the likelihood of becoming ill with the flu.
The cost of a private vaccine is $10. Eligible groups such as ages under 5, above 65, pregnant women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and people with certain chronic medical conditions can receive a free government funded vaccine. Please check with our staff for more information.
As a health promotion, we will BULK BILL the consult to administer the flu vaccine (Meaning no gap or out of pocket costs for the administering of the vaccine. However, if the consult involves other medical issues, the usual fee may apply).

[CASES UPDATE]
Today’s new cases includes a man in his 80s, who returned from overseas and completed hotel quarantine in NSW before returning to SA. In addition, two close contacts have tested positive late this afternoon, a man and a woman both in their 50s. Two historical infections identified in a medi-hotel have also been added to our case numbers.
