What an incredible day of learning and connection! 🌟

We were honoured to be invited by Together We Can to present on Autism, PDA, and Trauma during their staff training day via Teams.

Sharing education, practical strategies, and neuroaffirming approaches with other providers in the industry is something we are truly passionate about.

Empowering teams with the right knowledge helps create safer, more supportive, and more inclusive environments for the children, young people, and families we all work with. 💙🌱

Bookings for our Autism & Neurodiversity Inclusion Training are open for 2026.

Thank you again to Together We Can for having us, we absolutely love what we do! 💛

Today, we proudly celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).

At Disability SA, we honour the incredible contributions, leadership, and strengths of people with disability who continue to shape a future where everyone is valued, included, and able to thrive.

This year’s theme, “Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress,” reminds us of the powerful impact that true inclusion can have across our communities.

Every day, we work alongside individuals, families, and organisations to break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and build environments where neurodivergent people feel seen, understood, and supported. Our Autism & Neurodiversity Inclusion Training is one of the ways we’re helping workplaces, schools, and community groups create safer, more accessible, and affirming spaces for all.

Join us in celebrating the inspiring leaders in our community and in continuing the movement towards equality, respect, and meaningful inclusion. 🌏✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night in Murray Bridge for the thirteenth presentation of our roadshow!

It was great connecting with everyone from the Murray Bridge and Mannum clubs. Thank you all for your time and enthusiasm in learning about inclusion and how we can further incorporate this education in supporting young athletes.

The purpose of this roadshow is to help every Little Athletics SA club all across South Australia, feel more confident supporting their athletes with Autism. We are so very grateful for the opportunity to share our Autism inclusion presentation with you all.🌻

How cool is this?!

One of our Developmental Educators has headed over to Port Lincoln for the week to support a participant as they complete their deep sea diving qualification.

We LOVE seeing our participants step outside their comfort zones and take on huge goals. We’re grateful for the dedicated team who make these opportunities possible. 💪🌊

Go smash it! 🤿💙

Neuroaffirming and trauma informed care in Action🚑💛

This week we had an unexpected incident at our respite house and needed support from the Birdwood and Woodside Ambulance teams when one of our participants experienced some health concerns.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible paramedics who attended. They were kind, patient, understanding and truly neurodiverse-friendly in every part of their approach. The officers sat with us for multiple hours, offering calm reassurance, helping us regulate the environment, and supporting the participant with genuine compassion.

It was a powerful reminder of the difference that neurodiversity awareness and inclusive practice can make during stressful moments. Their gentle communication and respectful support turned a difficult situation into a positive and safe experience for everyone involved.

Thank you to the Birdwood and Woodside Ambulance teams, in particular Kerry, Tim and their team. We did not manage to get everyones names but you know who you are, a very big thanks to you all. Your care meant the world to us and to our participant. 💙
