Unexplained infertility can feel one of the most uncertain and frustrating diagnoses to receive. Without clear answers, it can be difficult to know what to do next or where to focus your efforts.

In this video, Professor Louise Hull explains how taking the time to investigate every possible factor can help turn uncertainty into understanding. From specialised imaging to identifying lifestyle and environmental influences, gaining clarity allows for more targeted and effective treatment options.

With the right information, unexplained infertility becomes something that can be explored, understood and supported with a considered, evidence-based approach.

If you would like to discuss your fertility and the investigations available, contact Embrace Fertility on 1300 848 470 to arrange an appointment.

As Endometriosis Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that understanding and support go beyond awareness alone.

For many, navigating endometriosis involves learning about treatment options, medications and next steps. Clear guidance and practical support can make this process feel more manageable and less overwhelming.

At Embrace Fertility, care for endometriosis is shaped around the individual. Whether it’s explaining how medications fit into a treatment plan, preparing for procedures or understanding how endometriosis may impact fertility, our team takes the time to ensure each patient feels informed and supported in decisions that can often feel complex. At the same time, our doctors are actively involved in research and advocacy, contributing to improved understanding, earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment approaches for endometriosis.

You’re in safe hands every step of the way.

Understanding your fertile window can help you better time conception, but it’s important to remember that every body is unique.

Tracking your cycle, noticing changes in cervical fluid, and using ovulation predictor kits to identify your LH surge can help you understand when you’re most fertile, but timing is only one part of the picture.

At Embrace Fertility, we know that fertility journeys are rarely straightforward. Our team is here to help you make sense of your individual fertility and provide guidance that’s tailored to you.

As Endometriosis Awareness Month continues, it’s an important time to deepen understanding of a condition that affects so many individuals and families.

At Embrace Fertility, education and evidence-based care remain central to our approach year-round. Endometriosis affects around 10 percent of the population and is associated with fertility challenges in up to half of those diagnosed. A family history may also increase risk.

As Dr Tran Nguyen explains, early diagnosis through ultrasound or MRI can play an important role in guiding care. For many patients, laparoscopy remains the gold standard for both diagnosis and treatment, helping to remove endometriosis tissue, reduce inflammation and improve fertility outcomes.

If you would like to learn more about endometriosis and your fertility options, contact Embrace Fertility on 1300 848 470 to arrange an appointment.

Creating a supportive clinical environment begins with careful preparation.

Before patients arrive, our nurses prepare the space and equipment needed for each appointment. From organising supplies to ensuring everything is ready for the doctor, these moments of preparation help appointments run smoothly and support a calm, well-coordinated experience for patients.

It’s the careful attention to these details that helps create a supportive environment for every visit.

Come and spend a day with Taylor, one of our fertility nurses.

From reviewing results and coordinating with doctors to spending time on the phone guiding patients through next steps, Taylor’s day is built around communication, organisation and teamwork.

Fertility nursing often means being a steady point of contact throughout a patient’s journey. Taking the time to listen, answer questions and help people feel informed is a meaningful part of the role that Taylor and the rest of the nursing team at Embrace values deeply.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month.

Endometriosis affects around 10 percent of the population and is linked to fertility challenges in up to 50 percent of cases. For some, there may also be a family history that increases risk. Despite how common it is, diagnosis is often delayed, which can mean years of symptoms before answers are found.

Endometriosis Awareness Month matters because earlier recognition can change outcomes. When symptoms are understood and investigated sooner, appropriate imaging such as ultrasound or MRI can help guide next steps. Where indicated, laparoscopy remains the gold standard for diagnosis and treatment, allowing endometriosis tissue to be removed, reducing inflammation and supporting fertility outcomes.

Improving awareness supports earlier assessment, more informed decisions and better long-term reproductive health.

If you have questions about endometriosis and fertility, contact Embrace Fertility on 1300 848 470 to arrange an appointment.

We’ve been helping to create families for 20 years

Embrace Fertility means celebrating becoming pregnant, creating a family, growing a family tree. More than anything, each and every day, we want this for our clients, whichever way it comes to them. Embrace also means to hug. It is what we do with our partner, our children and our loved ones. An embrace is how people conceive, how they persevere when trying to conceive, how hope continues when the journey has been long. Finally, sometimes people under our care need to be embraced, figuratively held when things haven’t gone to plan, when there is a lot to lose, when fear outweighs joy, when a phone call makes all the difference.

These were our reasons for choosing Embrace Fertility as a name. However, each person who chooses to come to Embrace Fertility will attribute a different meaning and after all a name is just a name. How hard we work to use our knowledge, experience and care to help you conceive and have an ongoing pregnancy is what matters. We want you to see and experience this when you meet us. Each doctor uses their own signature to commit to providing the best care they can. We want the hope and care in the Embrace Fertility name to truly reflect what we do in practice.

Embrace Fertility’s lead specialist Associate Professor Louise Hull is a fertility expert with a passion for what she does and a determination to seek out and utilise the best fertility treatments available today. A qualified gynaecologist (MB ChB (Otago), FRANZCOG) with the top specialist qualification in fertility (CREI), Louise has experience looking after people with complex fertility needs, and the ability to collaborate with a network of fertility specialists nationally and internationally to optimise your care.

As an Associate Professor in reproductive medicine with a PhD from Cambridge University, research has always been part of Louise’s fertility work, enabling her to critically evaluate new protocols, technologies and medications. She has also worked with the pharmaceutical industry and biotech companies, evaluating new IVF medications and technologies in clinical trials.
