🪷There is a particular system in yoga āsana classes that is to be practiced in order to maintain a long term balance in body, mind & spirit
🪷there is no short cut
🪷the physical body & prāna is used to attain a certain depth in our state of mind
🪷it is a spiritual practice (sorry if you disagree & we're not here to debate that)
🪷when you feel a certain calmness that is profound, it's intoxicating & you would want to maintain it
🪷thus, to help maintain that balance, following the system will support the practitioner in his/her pursuit to a wholesome experience of a true yogic state
🪷& this is not a simple task it takes more than a lifetime of learning & practice
🪷we will stumble
🪷our ego will get in the way in many forms
🪷have that balance between Karma Yoga, Bakthi Yoga, Raja Yoga & Jnana Yoga
🪷just remember, we are all work in progress
🪷 & there's no such thing as which level you are at ...
🪷be true to yourself & be joyful in practice 💛
