Went for a walk today. Strolled past a beautiful blooming lavender full of flowers. As we got closer the beautiful aromatic's of the flower surrounded us.
I had to stop and take a minute. The colour also beautiful.
I plucked a flower smelled it and passed to my daughter.
I told her Xena this is mummy's favourite flower. As I finished smelling it I put it under her nose. So she could smell it too. Once it went under her nose she smiled and it was so cute it made my hear boom.
I also told her mummy uses the essence of this flower in massage oil for many years. It is good for calming , acts as an anti depressant, muscle relaxant and anti bacterial, anti inflammatory and can help assist sleep quality. I told her I do hope to one day her using some of the massage techniques I learnt from the Thai's, Indian's and through western and eastern studies.
I put the flower gently beside her she was wide awake and continued the walk. Thought nothing much more of that. Once we arrived home through the high inclines and rustling winds I find her fast asleep clutching the lavender.
I thought I would share this special moment. As a reminder too all Remember to " Stop and smell the flowers". Also maybe you might want to add little lavender in your life having now know how beneficial it may be 💜💙💜
Cant wait to start up again soon. Miss you all hope you are well !!
