A really common frustration: “They can do it in the clinic… but not at home/school.”
That doesn’t mean therapy isn't working. It usually means the skill is still new, and it’s attached to the exact setting it was practised in, same room, same routine, same expectations.
Part of good therapy is planning for the real world: different places, different people, different time of the day.
The idea is to build those bridges carefully so the skill transfer outside the clinic.
