What They Do

Disability to Ability SA provides supports and activities that focus on wellbeing, independence, and inclusion. Their services are tailored to individual goals and can be funded under different parts of an NDIS plan. Key services include:

Support Work – one-on-one or small group supports to help people in their daily lives and community participation. Unique Approach

Strong farm-to-fresh and nature-based focus – participants spend time outdoors with animals, gardens, and open spaces. Creative learning environments – combining art, sport, gardening, and animal interaction into personal growth opportunities. Holistic well-being – not just about meeting NDIS goals, but helping people feel connected, valued, and included. Who Runs It

Our Art Program runs weekly from our Smithfield office hub, offering something new to learn each session. To us, it’s more than just creating art — it’s about expressing your personality and bringing your ideas to life.

In a supportive social group environment, you’ll build friendships and connections that can last a lifetime. Each activity is guided step-by-step, whether it’s glass engraving, wood burning, painting, or something new. No matter your skill level, everyone walks away having learned something meaningful.

Personalised mugs were definitely the favourite activity of the week. Each participant creating something that truly reflected their personality and style. Everyone was given a template to help guide their design, and from there, they learned each step of the process — from carefully weeding the vinyl to preparing the design for heat transfer.

Watching the colours infuse onto the mugs and seeing everyone’s creativity come to life was a highlight for the whole group. It was a fun, hands-on activity that gave everyone a sense of pride in creating something unique to take home.
