Yesterday at I had the most beautiful couple (and their 6 year old- yes if your stuck for sitters, we welcome the kiddies too) come in for their one on one Hypnobirthing Positive Birth Program.
We spent the whole day together — and the questions came thick and fast. What if I can't handle it, what if I panic, what if something goes wrong — and by the afternoon something had shifted.
I've witnessed that shift so many times across my career as a doula and hypnobirthing educator. Fear softening into confidence. Overwhelm making way for excitement.
That's exactly what birth prep is supposed to do.
If you're newly pregnant in Adelaide and birth feels like something to survive rather than step into, you're not alone. And it doesn't have to feel that way.
