This - this is what you need to know to truly understand yourself and move forward.
So many want answers on how to move forward and this is truly the only way, everything else is just a bandaid.
If you can’t do the work , can’t look within, can’t honour yourself, can’t see, then you will stay where you are.
The work is hard
The journey is long
But are you meant to live a life on how family and society moulded you to who you think you need to be or are you meant to live a life from the core soul of who you truly are?

DO THE WORK there is no spiritual bypass
One of the most powerful truths about shadow work is this: your triggers are messengers.
When something someone says or does causes a strong emotional reaction, it often has very little to do with the present moment. Instead, it touches something older, a wound, a belief, or a part of yourself that has been pushed into the shadow.
Most people respond to triggers by reacting outwardly. Anger, defensiveness, withdrawal, blame. But shadow work invites a different response: curiosity.
Instead of asking “Why are they doing this to me?” the deeper question becomes “Why does this affect me so strongly?”
That question is where the real work begins.
Often our triggers point to places where we once felt powerless, rejected, or unseen. The mind learned to protect itself by burying those experiences. But when similar situations arise later in life, the shadow reacts first, trying to defend something that was never fully healed.
This is why shadow work requires honesty with ourselves. It means recognizing that not every emotional reaction comes from the present. Some come from parts of us that are still carrying old stories.
And when we are willing to look at those stories, we gain something powerful: awareness.
Awareness allows you to respond rather than react. It allows you to recognize patterns before they control your actions. It gives you the chance to heal the original wound instead of repeating it.
The shadow is not trying to sabotage you.
It is trying to show you where healing is still needed.
And the moment you stop fighting those parts of yourself, they begin to transform.
Because the shadow does not disappear when ignored.
It transforms when understood.
