Sunday Morning Smiles 💚

Nothing beats the joy of seeing a big, genuine smile from our lovely participant this Sunday morning ,all thanks to a simple but heartwarming breakfast: homemade French toast to satisfy a sweet little craving 🩷

Here’s our recipe if you want to try it too:

Sunday French Toast Recipe
(Serves 1)

Ingredients:
• 2 slices wholemeal bread (crust removed )
• 2 eggs
• 2 tbsp milk (regular or plant-based)
• 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
• 1 tsp raw sugar
• A k**b of butter for cooking
• Optional: fresh strawberries for topping
• To finish: a drizzle of Canadian maple syrup & a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar

Method:
1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and raw sugar.
2. Dip the bread slices in the egg mixture and let them soak for a few seconds.
3. Heat butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
4. Cook the bread until golden brown on both sides.
5. Plate up and top with maple syrup, cinnamon sugar, and strawberries if you have them.

Estimated calories per serving: ~340–380 kcal
(Depending on syrup quantity and type of milk used)

Sometimes happiness really is this simple shared meals, warm hearts, and a dash of cinnamon magic.
