🎉 Looking back at a memorable week at UDT in London!

Debuting our own stand this year, we built on the Team Defence Australia presence while highlighting South Australia’s leadership in undersea capability and our significant role in AUKUS.

South Australia’s defence industry represented at UDT, with local companies Acacia Systems, Adelaide University, AML3D, PMB Defence, PrioriAnalytica and Supashock showcasing the breadth of their capabilities on the global stage.

Our South Australian goodie pack proved popular at the stand. 😍 Congratulations to BMT London for entering the draw and taking home a selection of local goodies, we hope you enjoy.

Finally, a special thank you to everyone who visited our stand, connected with our team, and for learning more about South Australia’s defence industry.

👉 The Defence State has marked a major Defence milestone with the first Australian-made Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) missiles successfully test-fired at the Woomera Test Range!

The successful demonstration builds on the establishment of Australia's first missle assembly facility at Port Wakefield, launched in December 2025, which is the only facility in the world outside the US to produce DMLRS.

⚓ UK naval supplier drops anchor in South Australia!

IMI Truflo Marine has officially opened its first manufacturing facility outside the UK at Edinburgh North 👏

Operating as an Asia Pacific engineering and production hub, the facility will support the design, assembly and testing of specialist naval valves for submarines and surface combatants.

The move will boost South Australia’s role in AUKUS aligned naval supply chains and create highly skilled local jobs – building advanced manufacturing capability for future submarine programs.
