Our group had a wonderful day out visiting Melba’s Chocolate Factory in Woodside! 🍫 It was a great opportunity to get out into the community, enjoy new experiences, and spend quality time together.

We loved watching an expert chocolatier make cherry slice, learning about the process step by step — and of course enjoying some taste testing along the way 😋 (the peppermint was a favourite!). With so many flavours to choose from, everyone had fun exploring their options and picking their favourites.

There was plenty of laughter with games on the lawns, followed by a visit to the Lobethal Bakery for lunch!

We had a beary wonderful time at our Build-A-Bear Workshop 🧸✨

Our participants created some un-bear-lievable bears — each one unique, colourful, and full of personality 💛

A highlight of the day was the special heart ceremony ❤️ A beautiful moment where everyone made a wish to place inside their bear… making each one extra meaningful 🐻✨

We especially loved the vibrant colours of the Frida Kahlo-inspired bear 🎨🌸 — such a standout!

It was truly a beary good time, filled with creativity, laughter, and lots of cuddly new friends 🧸

Thanks to everyone who joined us — we hope you had as much fun as we did! 🐻💫

Our Movers and Groovers had a hopping mad time! From a special visit by a fluffy bunny 🐇 to dancing up a storm, there were smiles all around 💛

We even limbo rocked the day away! 🕺💃

One of our participants is a big Adelaide Crows fan and had an awesome time at Ball in the Mall this past weekend! 🏉✨❤️💙💛

With the excitement of AFL Gather Round 2026 in the air, and plenty of love for the Adelaide Crows, the atmosphere was electric! From games and giveaways to music and fan fun — it was a fantastic experience all around. 🎶

We love being out and about in our community, getting involved and enjoying events like this 💛

A big thank you to Salisbury Council for an amazing Harmony Day celebration 🌏💛

We had such a fantastic day enjoying the many performances, experiencing different cultures, and exploring all the market stalls and freebies. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, learn, and celebrate diversity in our community.

Bluey was also a huge hit on the day — bringing plenty of smiles and excitement for everyone 💙🐾

We also had the pleasure of celebrating one of our staff members’ birthdays on the day 🎉🎂
A very special happy birthday for her!

Vibrant animal love 💕

Today our group had an amazing visit to the Hahndorf Guinea Pig Café 🐹✨

This unique café, run in partnership with AHH Life Skills, provides meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities to build skills, confidence, and independence in a real community setting 💛

Our participants engaged in ways that suited them – some loved patting, holding, and even dressing up the guinea pigs, while others preferred to observe and enjoy the calm, relaxed environment.

We also learned so much about these gorgeous little animals, including their favourite foods and that they can live around 5–7 years, sometimes even longer with good care!

Experiences like this support social inclusion, community participation, and personal choice – all while having fun and creating positive memories together.

A big thank you to the wonderful staff and volunteers who made the day so special – we can’t wait to visit again! 🌿🐹

💃🍀 Disco Vibes – St Patrick’s Disco Recap! 🍀💃

What an incredible day we had at our St Patrick’s Disco last week! 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, dressed up in green and orange, and brought the energy to the dance floor 🕺💚 The vibes were amazing and it was so great seeing everyone having fun!

And of course… our friendly dinosaur guest made a special appearance! 🦖💚🌹 They loved meeting everyone and joining in on the dancing 🥰

Great to see initiatives like this supporting people living with dysphagia 💙

As a disability service provider, we work closely with individuals who require texture-modified diets, and having safe, inclusive dining options in the community is so important for dignity, wellbeing, and social connection.

Love seeing this positive step forward.
