Quiet Gratitude ☕
Some days, the work is complex. Plans shift. Things don’t always go as expected.
But when I stop and really think about it, there is so much to be grateful for in this work.
The quiet moments stay with me the most.
A child feeling comfortable enough to try something new.
A parent taking a breath after a long period of uncertainty.
A young person finding their voice and beginning to make their own choices.
These are not big, dramatic milestones. Most people would never see them. But they matter.
I am grateful for the trust that families place in this work. It is not something I take lightly. Being invited into someone’s life, especially during times of change or vulnerability, is a responsibility that sits with you.
I am also grateful for the professionals who show up with care, consistency, and integrity. The quiet collaboration behind the scenes often makes all the difference.
And to the people and families who I have the privilege of working alongside, thank you. For your honesty, your patience, and for allowing me to walk beside you through the ups and downs.
This work is not always easy, but it is always meaningful. 🌿
