Meet Donna, our amazing Nurse Lead at VIVA Mutual đź’ś

With almost 20 years of nursing experience across aged care and hospital settings, Donna now brings her compassion, clinical expertise, and calm leadership into the NDIS space.

A day in the life for Donna is full of meaningful moments — clinical assessments, phone calls, supporting participants, and guiding our frontline workers with the knowledge and confidence they need to deliver safe, quality care.

Donna’s journey in nursing began as a support worker in a nursing home, where she discovered her drive to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Today, she continues that mission at VIVA, helping ensure every person receives the care and dignity they deserve.

Meet Belle, one of our incredible schedulers at VIVA Mutual đź’ś

Belle is part of the busy engine room that keeps our services running smoothly every single day. From coordinating rosters to allocating high needs support at a moment’s notice, she’s one of the people behind the scenes making sure participants receive the care they need.

One of the things Belle loves most about her role is turning the impossible into possible. When a high needs shift seems unfillable and she finally secures the right support worker, the relief and gratitude from families and participants makes every challenge worth it.

It may be a job that often goes unseen, but those heartfelt “thank yous” mean everything. And we couldn’t do what we do without people like Belle who go the extra mile for our community.

What is VIVA Mutual?

VIVA is a new care provider inspired by Buurtzorg and developed by Healthy Social Care and Hessel. Mutuality is at the heart of our business, underpinned by the belief that engaged employees provide highest quality care and low staff turnover, making the initiative more successful. Profits are reinvested in workforce, innovation and growth.Workforce is key in delivering high quality health and social care. VIVA’s workforce development plan focusses on working with Government and others to establish The VIVA Training Academy. Some benefits of the VIVA model include;
