What is VIVA Mutual?

VIVA is a new care provider inspired by Buurtzorg and developed by Healthy Social Care and Hessel. Mutuality is at the heart of our business, underpinned by the belief that engaged employees provide highest quality care and low staff turnover, making the initiative more successful. Profits are reinvested in workforce, innovation and growth.Workforce is key in delivering high quality health and social care. VIVA’s workforce development plan focusses on working with Government and others to establish The VIVA Training Academy. Some benefits of the VIVA model include;


  • VIVA will recruit from the open labour market to deliver workforce solutions into specific health and social care market segments.

  • Being part of the Healthy Collective, VIVA features unique access to these segments, plus will be able to draw upon appropriate GP, Allied Health, Nursing, and Pharmacy support

  • Organised as Buurtzorg Self Managed Teams, the workforce will be agile, lean, autonomous and incentivised
