On December 10th, we acknowledge the anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly adopting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). The UDHR outlines a set of right that are deemed the basic set of human rights for all citizens.

Today, we celebrate the rights we exercise everyday as Australians such as the right to education, the right to receive medical care, and the freedom to practice our chosen religion. We acknowledge that through enjoying these rights, we carry the responsibility of promoting these rights for all people!

This year, Helping Heroes Rehabilitation Service received a Certificate of Appreciation from Military and Emergency Services Health Australia for our involvement in their 2022 Remembrance Day Breakfast, which aims to acknowledge the service and sacrifice of Australia's veterans, both past and present. We are proud to be one of their major sponsors, supporting their vision in delivering research to positively impact the mental health and well-being of current and former military and emergency service personnel, along with their families.
