Nightingale Cardiology Research is now recruiting for a resistant hypertension study.
BACKGROUND:
High blood pressure that is resistant to treatment is called resistant hypertension.

This study uses a Monoclonal Antibody injection IgG1 v placebo. This is a Phase II trial (to examine the effect of dose on blood pressure in people with with top blood pressure consistently greater than 145 mmHg already treated with three antihypertensive drugs of different classes.

These classes are specifically

-an ACEI/ARB,
-a long-acting dihydropyridine CCB, and
-a thiazide or thiazide-like diuretic

If you have resistant high blood pressure and are on multiple medications please contact us for more information at research@nightingalecardiology.com

Nightingale Research is now recruiting for the OCEANS Trial.

BACKGROUND:
Lipoprotein(a) is a new biomarker for cardiovascular (CV) risk responsible for a large component of the cardiovascular risk in the population.

The Oceans trial is a registry study that assesses the prevalence (or presence in the community) of raised lipoprotein(a) in the blood, in patients with heart attack or coronary stent. A once-off blood test to detect Lipoprotein (a) is offered free.

If you have had heart attack or coronary stent please contact us for more information at research@nightingalecardiology.com
