Greg's first respite for 2026 was an absolute hit!

Greg had an amazing weekend away with his support worker, Susan, exploring the beautiful Barossa Valley region.

They visited the Whispering Wall in Williamstown, enjoyed a delicious treat at Lyndoch Lavender Farm, and got to see Australia's incredible native wildlife at the Humbug Scrub Wildlife Sanctuary.

They also enjoyed delicious dinners at local pubs and had the chance to relax, recharge, and take a well-earned break from Greg's busy lifestyle.

Respite plays such an important part in Greg's life, giving him the opportunity to enjoy new experiences away from everyday appointments and providing his family with a well deserved break too.

At Your Way Disability SA, we understand that Christmas can be a challenging time for many people in our community. For individuals who may be feeling isolated, experiencing homelessness, are elderly, or spending the festive season alone, there are services available that offer a safe, welcoming space to share a Christmas meal and enjoy connection with others.

Today we pause to honour the lives taken too soon and the families whose worlds have changed forever. We remember those lost and hold their loved ones close in our thoughts. Our hearts are also with those injured as they begin their journey of recovery. In grief there is unity and in unity there is strength. Bondi we stand strong with you.

FREE AUTISM WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOLS

Your Way Disability SA is offering free autism education workshops for schools across South Australia. These sessions are designed to support Teachers, SSOs/ESOs, and school leadership with practical tools and up-to-date knowledge.

Workshop includes:
• Understanding autism and common strengths and support needs
• Practical classroom strategies that can be applied immediately
• Information about how the NDIS can support students and families
• Building an inclusive, supportive school environment
• Tips and Tricks how to deliver objectives for everyone

We stand together in silence to remember those who gave their tomorrow for our today.
