Oakden found a great way to create some fun at work for the team yesterday!

They've coined Loud T-shirt Day – where everyone wears the brightest coloured and craziest patterned shirts they have.

All the production rooms at Oakden were a mash of bright colours and crazy patterns for the whole workday!

And to add a capper to a very colourful event, they even had freshly cooked hamburgers for lunch!

There's no better way to create memories at work!

mobo has taken on a brand-new Enterprise - Adelaide Mobility Equipment

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get everything up and running, ensuring a continually smooth experience for our customers!

Adelaide Mobility Equipment offers 24/7 online ordering of a wide range of Personal Mobility Equipment, Bedroom & Bathroom Aids, and Homecare Equipment. With weekday delivery and collection between 8am – 4pm on Monday-Friday (excluding public holidays).

We’re currently servicing the whole of Metropolitan Adelaide, out of our base of operations in Oakden. We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be opening a new shop front in Victor Harbor to cater for the Fleurieu, and later on, the Riverland as well!

With our two-week minimum hiring period, reducing the costs and stress of getting your hands on mobility aid when you need it the most has never been easier.

The Melbourne Cup Day main event is only an hour away!

It’s the race that stops the nation, and we’ll be stopping work to watch the action! 🐎

While we’re waiting to put the race up on the big screen on our production floor, some of our team have dressed up in their race day best just for the occasion!

All our sweeps have been allocated, and now that the countdown is on, all that’s left to do is wish everyone luck!

The 🛠️ Salvage & Save Goolwa team are getting out into the community!

Last weekend the team occupied a stall at the Murray Sunrise Harmony Market, bringing the truck loaded with moboMade items to display!

Stocked with wicking beds, fish benches, firewood, and other items built by our team AND glorious sunshine? What a beautiful day! ☀️🌻

Didn’t get to see them last weekend? Not to worry! There’s another Market taking place on the 6th of December – keep an eye on the Goolwa Community Association page for more information!

After 5 months, the Hindmarsh team fired up the barbeque to treat our team to a well-deserved, delicious lunch!

Good food, great vibes, and even better company! We don’t need a special occasion; the teams ongoing hard work is reason enough to celebrate!

It’s a chance to create memories, have some fun, see everyone smile, not to mention get everyone together for a delicious lunch - some of our team even took the skill building opportunity by working the service line!

Our Story

Mobo Group was created due to the merge of two successful disability enterprises, Hands On SA (HOSA) and Finding Workable Solutions (FWS). Prior to the merge the HOSA brand had 55 years of history and the FWS brand had 28 years. Mobo Group was founded in 1963 by a group of parents of children with a disability who wanted to provide their children with vocational training and real employment opportunities.

Today, Mobo Group provides employment to more than 200 people living with a disability across two metropolitan sites spanning from Kingscote to Berri.

Of upmost importance to our entire organisation is the empowerment of our employees and for our business to be the best it can be. We value listening and understanding to create the best outcome; whether it be support for employees or a savvy commercial solution. We will do whatever it takes to deliver better business and better lives. We believe the sky is the limit and our structure gives us the freedom to continually explore what’s next.
