Our Kings Park community is currently undergoing a significant transformation, with eight brand-new, single-level two and three-bedroom independent living homes on track for completion mid-April. These thoughtfully designed residences feature modern layouts, ensuites, manageable low-maintenance living, and private parking — offering the perfect balance of comfort, space, and convenience for those seeking an easy-care lifestyle close to Adelaide’s CBD.

The development will also deliver nine new community spaces, thoughtfully designed to enhance connection, wellbeing, and everyday enjoyment, including:

While construction is underway, we want to take a moment to recognise the incredible work of our Village Manager, Adriana DePasquale, who continues to provide outstanding support and compassion to the 26 residents currently living at Kings Park. Managing day-to-day operations while navigating redevelopment is no small task — and Adriana has done this with professionalism, warmth, and unwavering dedication to resident wellbeing.

🍽️✨ Cooking Up a Storm at The Elms Retirement Estate - Kilmore, VICTORIA! ✨🍽️

On 1 December 2025, we held our very first Cooking Session, expertly hosted by Marlene Gooding, a qualified chef with a Graduate Diploma in Industry Education and Training.

With 6 eager participants, Marlene led the group through creative recipes using leftover Christmas turkey, including:
🍴 Turkey and Leek Vol-au-vents
🍴 Turkey, Mushroom, Brie & Cranberry Baked Rolls
🍴 Turkey Divan (gluten-free options available!)
🍴 Tomatoes stuffed with Prawn Cocktail or Potato Salad
🍴 Hazelnut Discs with Chocolate Hazelnut Spread and Vanilla Frosting (similar to macarons!)

In just 2 hours, everyone prepared these delicious dishes and then enjoyed a lovely shared lunch together.

This session follows the popular entree-main-dessert format Marlene has previously run with U3A and Brimbank Council.

We’re excited to announce the next session will be in February, with 7 participants already registered (max 8 per session). Cooking sessions will be held monthly, with additional dates if interest grows.

Exciting News – Introducing Sanctuary Villages!

We’re proud to share that our villages have now been united under a fresh new brand: Sanctuary Villages – a name that reflects the vibrant, secure, and fulfilling lifestyle we offer our residents.

With three established villages currently in our portfolio – two located in metro Adelaide (SA) and one in Kilmore (VIC) – we’re thrilled to announce that we are about to welcome our fourth village acquisition, marking a major milestone in our growth journey.

Backed by private ownership through ICAM, our goal is simple: to expand strategically while enhancing the quality of life for Australian retirees.

Our General Manager, Sabrina Mignone, is working closely with our dedicated village and operation managers – Adrian DePasquale (Kings Park, Adelaide SA) and Michael Tornatore (Kilmore, VIC) – to elevate resident satisfaction, streamline daily operations, and boost productivity across all sites.

Sanctuary Villages is set to become one of the nation’s most successful retirement living operators – providing Australian retirees with the lifestyle they truly deserve.

On Thursday evening, our talented residents came together for Paint & Sip Night—a relaxing time to unwind, get creative, and enjoy a glass of wine with friends. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just picking up a brush for the first time, everyone is welcome!

The laughter is flowing, the canvases are filling with color, and the sense of community is stronger than ever.
