🤍Certified Organic Baobab Oil, one of the key oils in our Radiance Face Oil. 🤍

There was a time during my Aromatherapy studies, some years ago now, when I was first introduced to Baobab oil. It didn’t stand out straight away, but it stayed quietly in the background, waiting for the right moment.

As my own skin began to change through midlife, feeling drier and looking a little dull, I found myself diving deeper into the world of lipid oils, searching for something that could nourish, soften and protect my skin from moisture loss.

And that’s when Baobab came back into focus.

Known as the “Tree of Life,” and growing in harsh, dry climates, this beautiful oil, cold pressed from its seeds are naturally rich in essential fatty acids that help support elasticity and restore that soft, supple feel to the skin.

This oil on its own feels velvety, medium weight, but it absorbs so beautifully, leaving a soft protective layer on the skin.

Including Baobab in our Radiance Face Oil felt like the perfect choice, from student, to formulator, to creating something I truly believe in.

I hope this Easter is bringing you peace and joy in your heart.

Behind the scenes over the past few months, I’ve been immersed in studying plant based lipid oil skincare formulation. It’s been such a wonderful experience and I’ve had the privilege of learning from the most generous, kind and knowledgeable mentors.

I hope you’re finding little pockets of joy for yourself as we move into December and a new season. 🙏💛

Behind the scenes, I’ve been working away in my seaside studio, formulating and testing a few beautiful creations, from our nourishing facial serum, to a dreamy geranium + patchouli solid perfume, a fresh lemon myrtle + sweet orange natural deodorant, a soft vanilla infused jojoba body oil, a lightweight coconut + almond lip balm, and a grounding forest inspired room spray. 🌿

It’s been a season of creativity, testing, refining, and following inspiration wherever it leads.

🌻 Hello friends.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve spent time working closely with one of the key ingredients in our new serum - Calendula Infused Oil. Calendula is one of those quiet achievers in the plant world. I love how it effortlessly soothes and calms dry, itchy, and inflamed skin.
