The big announcement is here! Beyond Health Acupuncture is moving! I am taking acupuncture appointments starting from 13th October and will be working from a wonderful new space upstairs at 1269 North East rd (directly across from St Agnes Coles) along side St Agnes Chiropractic. This is an interesting explanation of the fascia and how it works to integrate the musculoskeletal system. Acupuncture works, in part, by stimulating and activating the fascia to better integrate the way your body moves and holds itself.
You might be able to see from this video why acupuncturist will sometimes insert needles in or massage areas of the body that may not be near where someone is experiencing their discomfort or disfunction. Stimulating these areas allows us to balance the body as a whole.
