We sadly farewelled our lovely EP Audrey recently.
As many of you know, Audrey was accepted into a PhD program - an incredible achievement!

Our Grange Road Flinders Park studio is growing by the day with a number of classes and 1:1 session times available from Monday to Thursday.

This means we have more choice and greater flexibility for classes and 1:1 sessions for our current clients (goodbye waitlists!) AND clients have access to another ONERO site from a provider who has been delivering the ONERO program for more than five years.
The Grange Road Flinders Park Studio is located only 6km from the Adelaide CBD in a light, bright studio. It's everything you love about our Melbourne Street Studio in another convenient location in the western suburbs.

Eliza and the Saturday 9:15 STRONG class shared the love this Valentine's Day!
With the brief to wear something pink or red, the class delivered in style with lots of bold red lipstick, a Pink Floyd t-shirt, a red tutu skirt and even a bright pink wig.
Best of all, every exercise was completed in full costume, proving once and for all that you absolutely can lift heavy weights while wearing red lipstick. Well done, ladies!

These words grace the entrance of both the EP. EP. Exercise Physiology + Movement studio spaces.
I wrote this in the very early days of this business, when I still knew every client by name and when I was wearing ALL the hats (practitioner, admin, HR, cleaner, finance… you name it, you do it all in the early days).
The words literally streamed out of me. It was such a clear, visceral feeling, via words, as to why the EP Studio exists and how I want those who walk through the doors to feel.
My hope is that it’s resonated with clients over the years.
My hope is that this is how they feel inside our space.
My hope is that these words may have been a positive turning point for someone.
I wrote these words thinking of others.
However, over the years, these words have become my reminder. My way to get out of my head and into my body, the “feeling” space of what truly matters and why this business exists. To fully embody the essence of the EP Studio and all that she brings to me, our team, our clients, and the greater community.
At the end of this year, we will hit 9 years of the EP Studio. I still know MANY of our clients by name, some of whom have been there since the beginning (my deepest gratitude to you!). I still wear many hats on occasion, not out of necessity, but because that’s what you do as a business owner.
My hope is that these words can also lift our team, our clients, and the greater community during difficult times.
Because sometimes we all need to do a little less thinking, and a whole lot more feeling and moving.

Introducing the EP Studio Run Club!
Our Running Community is an inclusive space for runners of all levels who want to connect, learn, and move together. Hosted by EP Exercise Physiology + Movement, this community isn’t about pace or performance — it’s about shared kilometres, good conversations, and building confidence in your body.
We’ll aim to run an event every 3 months, which may include relaxed group runs with varying paces, panel interviews covering various topics, casual mingle sessions or group exercise testing sessions. Some events will be educational, some social, and some just a great excuse to move together.
There’s no commitment, no cost, and no expectation — just show up when it suits you. Whether you’re wanting to get into running, training for something, returning from injury, or simply love running with others, you’re welcome here.

Michelle will be consulting at our Melbourne Street Studio on Mondays and Thursdays. Her interest areas are:
✅ Women specific conditions and presentations including POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport, Endometriosis and Menopause
✅ Bone health and the management of low bone mineral density (osteoporosis and osteopenia)
✅ Neurological conditions including stoke, spinal cord injury and Cerebral Palsy
✅ Oncology care and the implementation of exercise as a management strategy
Phoebe will be consulting at our Grange Road Flinders Park Studio on Mondays and Tuesdays. She has a keen interest in:
✅ Active rehabilitation with a strong focus on building capacity for independence and achieving recovery
✅ Supporting women to manage osteoporosis/osteopenia with evidence based programming
✅ Programming and rehabilitation for pre and postnatal woman
✅ Womens health specific conditions including endometriosis, PCOS and pelvic related conditions/symptoms
✅ Condition specific including stroke and POTS
✅ Working with children and adolescents

This month is deadlift month at the EP Studios!
Deadlifts are one of the most functional and beneficial exercises you can do - they are great for improving bone density, everyday functional fitness, and your overall body strength.
We know that deadlifts can be tricky though, in terms of technique, form and even grip strength.
That's why we're going back to basics this month and focusing on our deadlift technique, as well as building strength in our key deadlift muscles (think back, glutes, hamstrings).

Welcome Phoebe!
As an Exercise Physiologist, Phoebe enjoys active rehabilitation – especially as an important component to recovery and independence.
She loves working with people and creating programs and interventions that provide the most efficient and practical approach to make the rehabilitation process comfortable and enjoyable.
Phoebe is passionate about working with women through pregnancy and postpartum, supporting clients with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), as well as paediatric and adolescent work in exercise physiology.
