Most people think posture only affects the back, but did you know it can also affect breathing?
When shoulders round forward, the rib cage compresses and the diaphragm can’t move through its full range. That reduces oxygen intake slightly and increases neck and upper-chest muscle strain. Over time, this contributes to tension headaches and fatigue that feel unrelated to posture.
Simple resets like lifting the screen to eye level or resting shoulders back against a chair restore natural breathing mechanics and reduce daily strain.
