Many people don’t realise old stress and unprocessed emotions can settle into the body especially the neck, jaw, hips, and lower back.

This shows up as tightness that won’t shift, stress flare-ups, shallow breathing, or that constant bracing you can’t “switch off”.

When the nervous system stays on alert, the fascia holds the pattern.

Bowen gently helps the body soften, breathe deeper, and release what it’s been carrying, so your system finally feels safe to exhale.

📍 If your body feels tight for no clear reason, Bowen may help you reset.

The more we let go, the more space we create in the body, mind and energy. As we release, we make room to receive calm, balance and clarity. And through that openness, we grow, allowing something new to bloom.

October is the perfect month for a wellbeing reset. With spring energy and Mental Health Month in Australia, it’s a reminder to nurture your body and mind.

Small shifts make a big difference: hydrate, stretch, spend time outdoors, and rest.

Prioritising your wellbeing this October helps everything else flow more easily.

Travelling to Europe with kids – the holistic survival guide

Not going to sugar coat it – there were tantrums (from the kids and us adults). But we got through it with planning, natural remedies and a whole lot of “just breathe.”

What saved us on our Europe family trip:
• Pre-flight jet lag homeopathics + Bushflower essences ( at Intuitive Quantum Healing)
• Wellness packs – oils, sprays (Tamara at Alchemess), lavender stick, diffuser, games + snacks
• Adults only: L-theanine + melatonin
• Water bottles + mini fans – absolute lifesavers
• Small ball for my soccer kid + card games at restaurants
• Airbnbs so I could cook schnitzel + bolognaise for the fussy eaters
• Bowen therapy on my family whenever I could 💆‍♀️ try and seek one or even light massage or reflexology

Keeping it simple helped – no crazy island hopping, just family-friendly towns and cities we could drive or train to. Less stress, more memories. And don’t overpack – 7 days of clothes is plenty if you’re planning to wash.

Our simple jet lag routine for kids (and parents):
Day 1 – Stay awake till local bedtime
Day 2 – Early rise, outdoor time
Day 3 – Normal bedtime routine (lavender, cuddles, dark room)
Always hydrate, move, and eat at local times.

It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. These holistic family travel tips kept us grounded as much as possible and made the journey so much smoother.
