Many carers worry they are “not doing enough” when someone they support is struggling.
In reality, being present is often already doing a lot.
Support does not always look like appointments or plans straight away. Sometimes it looks like:
-Sitting quietly together
-Letting someone talk without fixing
-Noticing patterns without rushing to label them
-Giving space when emotions feel big
Psychology and PBS both start from the same place:
safety, respect, and understanding.
There is no expectation to have all the answers.
Your role is not to solve everything; your role is to care, notice, and stay connected.
That alone creates stability.
